RIGHTEOUSNESS MUST BE DEMONSTRATED

On the basis of faith in Christ Jesus, we’re no longer sinners but righteous. To this end we say, ‘Blessed be the Lord.’

But righteousness must be demonstrated. God demonstrated His’. We too, who share in Christ’s righteousness, must demonstrate who we’re. The righteousness in us must spread in the world as a fragrance—an aroma of life.

You too well know how an aroma of a good perfume impacts the surrounding. When one wearing a choice perfume enters, everyone in the room will turn to see who it is. Similarly, if we’re righteous; if we’re the fragrance of Christ; if we’re the aroma of life; a godly life must be the way we live.

Then unbelievers will turn to see. They will want to know why we live life the way we do. Before you know it, they will have turned into believers. You see, even the poorest at evangelism, can harvest souls by demonstration of righteousness.

*aroma means our deeds—the way we live.

GRACE INSTRUCTS

Following every kind of ungodliness... was our condition when the grace of God appeared to us. Then it drew us to the Savior, Jesus Christ.
But grace wasn't done with us, it took on another operation: It begun instructing us to renounce ungodliness and worldly desires and to live lives that are self-controlled, upright, and godly.

And because of its effectiveness, we begun to renounce... as if we'd become sexually impotent... as if we could no more afford a bottle of beer... That's what grace does. It teaches us to say 'No' to ungodliness.

So child of God, run away from ushers of hell who teach that because we're in grace so it's well with us regardless of what we do. They haven't understood the Epistle to the Romans. Neither are they teaching the true grace of God. Don't give them attention; they hold teachings of demons.

GRACE JUSTIFIES
Dear Saint,
Did you know you were a sinner, deserving to die, before you received Jesus? But when you received the salvation His grace brought – when you received Christ, you were justified by His grace. Justified: meaning God declared you free, free from the penalty of sin.

Now you walk free in the courts of the Lord, as if you did not do any evil or shameful thing. Free, as if you did not deserve to die... Free and free indeed just because you were forgiven on account of Christ. In His righteousness you rejoice confessing the truth: I am no longer sinner but a saint.

Those who want to bring you to book for your past sins... are not aware of the wonderful truth that the Righteous Judge declared you free by grace. Neither do they know that God cast all your sins behind His back.

Those who understand what God did by His grace, justifying sinners, cannot wait to find another reason to praise Him.

GRACE BRINGS SALVATION
When the Grace of God appeared to us, our hopelessness without Jesus was revealed. In response, we renounced our childhood religions. We threw away all articles of witchcraft. Some relationships lost value... All this was because Grace appeared to us. How effective grace is! Joining us to them – the Born Again, that we always made fun of and persecuted! Now we also sing: Amazing Grace!
More amazingly, if we can speak about Christ, and pray for the unbelieving; the same grace that drew us, will draw many more to Christ. Where grace is, no man is impossible. (How Saul a persecutor turned into Paul the preacher explains this.)

Due to the pandemic, many have died and are dying, but think about this: most of them are without Jesus, dying eternally. Can't we do something about? Can't we sn**ch some out of the fire!

WE ARE IN THE GRACE
They may judge us in respect to food regulations, Sabbaths…, but we cannot turn back to what Christ freed us from.
Those regulations were a mere shadow of better things. Now that the Reality appeared, we cannot be dragged back to an expired system. Why attempt to make us take an expired drink. Such a thing would be toxic–producing no positive effects.
We cannot live as if the veil of temple didn’t tear apart.
We cannot live as if Christ didn’t usher us into His grace.
We are in the grace, not under the Law. We are in a New Covenant with New Terms. We are the Church. We are the New Testament Church.

WE CANNOT STOP:
1. Praising God
Regardless of this pandemic, God still deserves praise. The way we do it may a little bit change, say to silent praise but He must be praised (Ps 65:1NASB).
2. Praying to God
Our God remains true to His word: He is a God who answers prayer, all flesh must go to Him (PS 65:2).
