*Genesis 25:33-34* đź“–
_“But Jacob said, “Swear to me first.” So he swore an oath to him, selling his birthright to Jacob. Then Jacob gave Esau some bread and some lentil stew. He ate and drank, and then got up and left. So Esau despised his birthright.”_

Today we read that Esau traded the riches of his birthright for a bowl of artificial and momentary happiness. Esau did like a lot of people today, he thought with his belly. Instead of thinking with his head he let his passion or desire control his actions.

Let me ask you a question: Is it your relationship with Jesus, which determines who you are? Do you treasure your relationship with Christ above all else?

If you allow your appetite to get strong enough for the pleasures of this world, you will be like a lot of people who are trading their inheritance, for a taste of the world’s stew. It looks good, smells good, tastes good; but don’t be deceived. Don’t trade your inheritance just for a moment of pleasure.

đź“– *Hebrews 11:19* đź“–.. and he reasoned that God could even raise him from the dead, and in a sense he received him back from there.

The above scripture is about Abraham, who was willing to sacrifice his son to GOD, because he *reasoned* GOD could raise him back.

How did he " *reason* "? He reasoned by speaking possibilities. When his son asked, "where is the sacrifice"? He simply said, GOD will provide for himself a sacrifice. He reasoned that GOD would give him back his son, and still find a way to have His sacrifice.

What do you reason GOD can do for you? For us? Have you spoken possibilities? Let's make it a point to speak, after all - Our GOD is able!!

Jeremiah 17:7-8

Blessed is the man that trusteth in the LORD, and whose hope the LORD is.
For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit.

This is what GOD is reminding you and I - to put our trust in Him alone, then we shall be like a tree planted by the water and we shall not be careful in drought season.

This is a great word for us GOD expects to fully put our trust in Him because we are his planting. In trusting Him, we are enabled to bear fruit.

Brethren it doesn't matter what you are seeing around you, what you are going through, just remember that you are the LORD's planting and you will bear fruit in and out of season.

Let this be your confession:
" _l am the planting of the Lord and I bear fruit in and out of season_ ."

*Genesis 25:32* đź“–
And Esau said, Behold, I am at the point to die: and what profit shall this birthright do to me?

Hear what Esau said - "I am about to die, at this point this birthright is useless to me." Was he about to die? We don't know. But, he said he was about to die; and with his own mouth, he betrayed himself - he mentioned his weakness out loud.

Suppose, even though Esau felt hungry, he did not speak carelessly - we would have been talking about the GOD of Abraham, Isaac and Esau.

Brothers and sisters, regardless of what you may be feeling - never speak weakness. Don't declare lack, don't declare debt, don't trade your birthright - because of a feeling.

Pray like this:
_"LORD, help me guard my mouth from this day. Such that I may never lose what is rightfully mine in the new birth. In JESUS' Name. Amen."_

đź“– Genesis 22:2 đź“–
“Take your son, your only son, whom you love—Isaac—and go to the region of Moriah. Sacrifice him there as a burnt offering on a mountain I will show you.”

Abraham must have been heartbroken. God had told him to sacrifice his beloved son. Through this only heir, Abraham and his descendants were to be blessed (Genesis 17:19). It could not have made sense to Abraham, but he trusted God and responded in obedience. Isaac too knew the love of his father, Abraham, and trusted him enough to follow his instructions.
Abraham modeled obedience to God for Isaac to see. If his father said that God would provide, that was enough. He spoke provision even when there was none.

We must always speak Faith. Others look at our lives to see if we really live by the words we say. As we speak right, we will see GOD show up for us, again and again.

đź“– *Psalm130:3-4*
If you, LORD, should mark iniquities, O Lord, who shall stand? But there is forgiveness with you, that you may be feared.

GOD does not simply expect us to forgive. He himself is our example. He doesn't record our sins, rather, when we ask for forgiveness He forgives us.

With the LORD is forgiveness. Regardless of where we have been and what we have done, GOD is always willing to forgive. Why? Such that we may fear Him and honor Him with our worship.

Pray like this: _FATHER, I thank you that there is forgiveness with you. Right now I receive forgiveness for every area in my life where I displeased you. I am forgiven. In JESUS' Name_

đź“– *Proverbs 12:18* đź“–
The words of the reckless pierce like swords, but the tongue of the wise brings healing.

Someone once said that in addition to a gun registry, we should have a tongue registry. That way we could exercise “tongue control” and not have people go “shooting off their mouths.” We’ve all experienced damage from an uncontrolled tongue.

GOD intends for us to use our speech wisely. The answer isn’t found in becoming tongue-tied and saying nothing. God gave us the gift of speech for a good reason. GOD intends that we use our tongue to communicate with others and build relationships. When something isn’t going right in a relationship, GOD intends for us to use our tongue to build bridges of understanding. Words aren’t meant to pierce and destroy; they are meant to be vehicles of truth, reconciliation, and healing.

Do our words measure up to the character of CHRIST? This is GOD's Language School, and our words must heal and build up, not pierce or tear down.

Declare:
_Today, I purpose to speak words that heal._

*2Kings 7:2* đź“–
Then a lord on whose hand the king leaned answered the man of GOD, and said, Behold, if the LORD would make windows in heaven, might this thing be? And he said, Behold, you shall see it with your eyes, but shall not eat of it.

Let's put this in context. Samaria had been surrounded by an enemy army. They were forced to stay locked in their walled city. Famine had begun. A famine so bad that people were eating their own children, in order to survive. This famine and scarcity had been on for many days, weeks, perhaps even months. And the enemy was outside the gate, waiting for them - to kill them.

It is in these dire situations, that the prophet says, "by this time tomorrow there will be plenty of food." Despite how impossible it seemed, the man who disagreed with GOD died!!

Let us agree with what GOD says. For the things which are impossible with men, are possible with GOD.

Say to yourself:

_"By this time tomorrow, I will be in abundance"_

đź“– *James 3:10*
Out of the same mouth come forth blessing and cursing. These things, my brethren, ought not to be so.

We are managers of our own mouths. What words are coming out of your mouth? Are they words of life or destruction? Many times we speak things that are contradictory - we speak good and evil, blessing and cursing, progress and retrogression. Scripture tells us these things ought not to be so; we are rather to speak only good upon our lives. We are to speak things that give life, in line with the WORD, and the LORD will surely stand with the WORD spoken, causing it to come to pass.

_Today and everyday, speak only positive things upon your life_

đź“– Colossians 4:6 đź“–
"Let your speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer each one."

How we answer people will either build them or destroy them. As children of GOD we are to speak the same way our FATHER speaks in the new covenant. Our FATHER speaks graciously and His Word preserves life, just as salt does. Let this be our attitude and way of life - to speak life and grace to all people.

*Pray & Say:* _Father I thank You for Your Spirit in me who teaches me to speak graciously and use my words to preserve life in JESUS' name. Amen._

đź“– 1 Peter 3:10
For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile:

GOD is reminding us in his Word that, to enjoy life and have good days, care must be taken about what we speak. We shouldn't speak evil or lies.

For us to see prosperity, and good success in our lives, we have to learn to manage our words. How do we do this? By making the choice to study the word of GOD and letting it be on our lips because it is Truth.

Are you tired of bad days and bad life? Then, it is simple, change your language! Don't speak evil and lies; refrain your tongue, and as surely as GOD has said, it you will have good days and enjoy life. Hallelujah!!

_" Refrain your tongue from evil talk and you will enjoy life and have good days. "_
