Kigezi Diocese Bishop's Visit with his 17 Archedecons including ours
As earlier communicated, our beloved Bishop Gaddie Akanjuna and Maama Charity will meet DOK-KAMPALA CHAPTER on 14th August, 2022 at All Saints Cathedral, Nakasero. He will be accompanied by his 17 Archdeacons, the DS, the Treasurer, and the Head of Projects at the Diocese. Being a new team, it is proposed that they come on Sunday morning, lead a Holy Communion Service, present the Bishop's Programme for the next 1 or so years after which parishioners meet with their respective Archdeacons before they retire to Namirembe Guest House for the evening rest. As our culture already adopted, we shall start with lunch at 12.30pm - 2pm and the service begins at 2:15pm.
Here attached is the budget for the function for which our contributions are the only source. God loves a cheerful giver (2 Corinthians 9: 6-7); It is more blessed to give than to receive ( Acts 20: 32-35).
