GO BACK TO THE OLD PATHS.

The Lord Jesus Christ has been telling me about how grieved He feels over the current state of His children's Christianity.

He said the way they are now is not the way they were when they first came to Him but they have started compromising and are becoming cold.

He said, "They don't fast anymore, they don't evangelise anymore, they don't pray for the lost anymore, they don't do overnights, they don't pray as much anymore and the things I told them to stay away from they have began to entertain. They have even again began to change television channels, watching secular Tv. The kind of people I told them to stay away from, they have began to pull near to themselves again. They have slowly started becoming like the people of the world in their dressing, behaviour, talk. Doing artificial hair and abandoning holiness. The warnings I gave them have began to seem like just stories and have began to fade away from their memories."

"What is the difference between now and then? If anything, they should even hold on more now and grow more spiritual because the time is nearer now than when they first believed. Tell them that every tree that does not bear fruit will be cut down and cast into the fire."

"There are some places my children used to evangelise in when they first came to me but now, they are ashamed of evangelising in those places. They say, 'what will they think of me' yet they used to evangelise in them when they first believed. There are some people my children would evangelise to when they first believed but now, they choose who to evangelise to. They say 'Let me evangelise to this one. The other one is too popular to evangelise to. He knows all about this world and girls are all over him. What will he think of me when I start telling him the word of God? I will feel embarrassed.' But remember that no one is too cool and popular to die or go to hell and remember that if you are ashamed of me and deny me, I will also deny you before my Father"

" When you got converted, the Kingdom of darkness shook. An atomic bomb. They were scared of what would become of their kingdom . You were a dangerous weapon that shook the foundations of hell, scattered the arrows of the enemy with prayer and hindered their missions . You made Satan uneasy all the day long because praise was always on your lips, your bible was with you everywhere you went and you would even skip a meal because you were too busy evangelising. Now, if someone asks you something about God, you hesitate to answer because you are ashamed of saying anything that has to do with God. Go back to the old paths."

"You would sing my songs as you walked along the road but now you're even scared of anyone hearing you singing a christian song. Are you scared of persecution? Persecution is bound to come as long as you truly follow me. Even from those who call themselves Christians. They will mock you when you go out to evangelise, they will try to bring you down and make you feel foolish for being holy. But that is the only way to Heaven. All other roads, no matter how they look lead to Hell. Remember, I have overcome the world. Ask for the Holy Spirit fire to be rekindled in you my dear children. I do not want you to have served me in vain in the previous years. Go back and serve me in truth and in spirit. "

These are the words of our Lord Jesus Christ. May each one of us look deeply inside of us truthfully and serve Him as He deserves to be served. Let us not become like the children of Israel who failed to enter the promised land due to their disobedience.

The Tribulation of Satan (The body of Christ Jesus be prepared for this)

The Tribulation is a period of time, just before the return of Jesus (Matt 24:29-31, Mark 13:24-27, Luke 21:20-28), in which the world will be united by a "one world government" (Dan 7:7-8, Rev 13) and all people on earth will be tested through the flood of lies (Matt 24:37-41, Luke 17:26-27, Rev 12:15) that comes from the mouth of Satan, to see what they will do if their understanding of the Truth is put under pressure.
And those who "do not know God’s Word" will be swept away in these lies and this deception. This period of time was originally said to be 7 years, in which Antichrist would have been on earth for 3 and a half years (Dan 8:13-14, 9:27, 12:6-10, Rev 11:2, 12:13-14), but Jesus told us that He had it shortened for the sake of His elect (Matt 24:21-22, Mark 13:19-20) because even the elect would be deceived in such a long period of Satan (and his angels) running amuck.

(Mar 13:19) For in those days shall be affliction (tribulation), such as was not from the beginning of the creation which God created unto this time, neither shall be.

(Mar 13:20) And except that the Lord had shortened those days, no flesh should be saved: but for the elect’s sake, whom He hath chosen, He hath shortened the days.

(Mar 13:21) And then if any man shall say to you, Lo, here is Christ; or, lo, He is there; believe him not:

Satan will come to earth as Antichrist halfway through this Hour of Temptation and will deceive the world into believing he is the Messiah, and that he should be worshipped (Dan 8:9-12, 2 Thess 2:3-4). He will be an impostor of Jesus Christ to all Christians, but also he will impersonate the messiah of every other religion, in order to join everyone together in a "one world religion" (Rev 13:14-15) under the utter lie that every religion is basically the same, but misunderstood, and that they all actually have the same messiah.

(Mat 24:26) Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, He is in the desert; go not forth: behold, He is in the secret chambers; believe it not.

(Mat 24:27) For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

Only those who have studied the Bible, and know Jesus Christ on a personal level, will be able to tell the difference between Satan acting as a false Jesus, and Jesus Christ Himself (2Thess 7-12, Rev 13:11). You MUST study to show yourself approved (2Tim 2:15). This will be a time of great deception like the world has never seen (Matt 24:21, Mark 13:19).

(2Ti 2:15) Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of Truth.

Can you measure how far the east is from the west? That's how far the Lord has already removed your sins from you (see Ps 103:12). Despite your failures, you can run to the Lord through Repentance with a broken heart and receive His Mercy and Forgiveness

05/12/2022

Satan comes into your life and robs, steals, and destroys. God gives and restores what Satan has taken from you. Do not mistake an attack from the enemy as an action from a loving God, for there is no darkness in the Lord. He is full of light and He is eager to return to you all that Satan has taken away. Remember he was manifested to destroy all the works of the Devil and not only that he also came to give us life and life in it’s Abundance..
All you need to do is ask Him to.

25/05/2022

Ephesians 6:10 "Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might."

Natural instinct is the using of "common sense". We must allow our own natural instincts and common sense to override that which is false. When we ARM OURSELVES in the Word of GOD, we should grow up to have the strength and power to set the direction or our own lives. We should be able to "know" Truth from false teaching, false doctrine, and false information.

To "be strong in the Lord", means to be sure in your mind of the Lord.
Our strength in the Lord comes from the things we can do "in the authority of Jesus Christ's Name". GOD'S MIGHT is where all our power comes from. God cares, and gives those who call on His Name the strength needed to see us through any difficulty.

Ephesians 6:11 "Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil."

We are in the end times and in a fierce spiritual battle. Have you scouted the enemy? Do you know who the enemy is, and who his forces are made up from? It is Satan, his evil spirits, and his offspring on the earth, the "Kenites". God is giving these evil forces authority to exercise, and bring about the fulfillment of His Plan for these latter days.

Shortly, Michael will cast Satan out of Heaven [Revelation 12:7], and he will be on the earth "in person" ruling as the Antichrist. When the spirit of Antichrist rules, God will also give His elect the Spirit and Power of the Holy Spirit; which will have power to subdue ALL evil spirits. In Luke 10:19 "Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you." Jesus said; "WE have the POWER over ALL our enemies", and Satan is our enemy.

NOW is the time that we had better be preparing ourselves; to know what is going to transpire, and what we must have to use against Satan, and all his forces. We must know him and all his names; the Antichrist, the serpent, the king of Tyre, the devil, and all of his other names, which will alert us to his actions.

The "wiles of the devil" refers to the lies, tricks, and deceitfulness he and his offspring [the Kenites] may use to bring down Christians. The "whole armour" is all the protection necessary to stand "against" those lies and deceptions. Your entire body has to be protected against Satan, or he will out wit you, and you will not stand.

The point is, that you put on the "whole armour", all of it, to stand against Satan, the Antichrist.

Ephesians 6:12 "For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places."

This battle we are going to fight against is NOT "flesh and blood", it is not people you see and hear, but it is against "hidden and deceitful spiritual powers". Satan is the prince of darkness, and spiritually he controls the minds and actions of not only rulers of this earth, but all evil spirits in the heavenlies. These are the angelic beings in a fallen state.

Are you prepared mentally to do battle with Them? This battle is not with guns and swords, but with words and doctrines; with concepts and ideas, and these are the "fiery darts" that Satan will conduct his warfare against you with.

Daniel 8:23 will give us a view of what this ruler of darkness is like. "And in the latter time of their kingdom, when the transgressors are come to the full, a king of fierce countenance, and understanding dark sentences, shall stand up."

This king in the "latter time" is Satan, the Antichrist; he is the "king of fierce countenance, and understanding dark sentences". In the Hebrew text it means that Satan is "skilled in dissimulation" of the Truth of God's Word. Satan knows ALL of God's Word, and as such, he is the father of lies and deception. He will twist and turn the Truth a little here and a little there, to make it an outright LIE. Satan is the Antichrist on earth, and we must never forget it.

Daniel 8:24 "And his power shall be mighty, but not by his own power; and he shall destroy wonderfully, and shall prosper, and practice, and shall destroy the mighty and the holy People."

He will take away so much of Christianity, and cause so much deception through false doctrines [such as the rapture doctrine] that all those without their full [whole] armour on, WILL be deceived. Satan/Antichrist comes "in" [to this earth] with the promise of "peace and prosperity" with false hopes and a promise to fulfill your every wish, if you will but follow and worship him.

Daniel 8:25 "And through his policy also he shall cause craft to prosper in his hand; and he shall magnify himself in his heart, and by peace shall destroy many: he shall also stand up against the Prince of princes; but he shall be broken without hand."

Satan's "policy" is the way he fights, which is his "method of operation". The "craft to prosper in his hand", refers to his ability that God will give him to do many miracles and wonders. Revelation 13 tells us how he will use this deceit to trick the whole world, except for God's elect, those with the "Seal of God" [knowledge] IN their minds [foreheads]

"He shall magnify himself in his heart", is covered in II Thessalonians 2:4; "Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the Temple of God, shewing [claiming] himself that he is God." This is the "Abomination of desolation [by the desolator]" spoken of in Daniel 9:27, and by Jesus in Matthew 24:15.

"By peace" is Satan's secret weapon, for peace is the most powerful weapon used against God's people in this final generation. It is dismantling the mind of the Christian church and disarming our nation today. In the end Satan will be "broken without hand", because it will be by the Two Edged Sword which comes from the Mouth of Jesus Christ. The same Sword that spoke and worlds were formed, and the stars were put in their places. However, we must not underestimate Satan's power to deceive, and his miracles, and cries for peace, peace, peace.

Europe has moved to unity, and by treaty, and the Americas are also brought together. But the binding force for the world politically is the United Nations, with it's many dominating agencies. World peace is at the door step, and with it comes the sounding of the sixth trumpet of Revelation 9. At the fall of this world political system, comes the rise of a world religious order, which will cause the world nations to bow to the coming ruler, the Antichrist. Even the Christian world will bow to this religious leader, the Antichrist, as their Messiah. One worldism is so close, that it could become fact at any time.

Ephesians 6:13 "Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand."

We will stand against Satan, and all his forces. The "evil day" is just before the Lord's return, and on that day we had better be "prepared to stand" and face Satan, with our full armour on.

Ephesians 6:14 "Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;"

Your "girt" is your belt. That is what holds up your pants, and our spiritual "belt" is the Truth of God's Word; ALL OF IT. Like the belt, it also holds you together, and keeps you from going flying off in all directions. If you "know" what to expect you will not stray off into Satan's camp in ignorance.

Our "breastplate of righteousness" is our justification, or authority for everything we say or do. That is the Word of God. It will protect you, but only if you are able to think for yourself, and the wisdom to direct our thinking can ONLY come from GOD.. Without that Truth in your mind, you are spiritually naked, and defenseless against any spiritual battle. The world today is Biblically illiterate.

Ephesians 6:15 "And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;"

This is the kind of shoes that we all must have on. There is only one True Peace, and that comes from Jesus Christ. The "gospel of peace" is the "good news of God's full Plan". Your feet are used to walk with and get you around, while the shoes are for the protection of your feet. So we had better have the "gospel armour" on so when we move in these final days, we know exactly where to walk, and what to expect. There are no secrets for these days, as to how Satan's forces will move; it is all written in God's Word [our Bible].

When we see the signs of the end times that are upon us, we had better understand what Satan will do; and then know what we had better do about it. Matthew 24, Mark 13, and Luke 21 all tell us in detail what we are to do in that day. These are all part of our spiritual shoes, that will guide our feet to where they ought to take us.

Ephesians 6:16 "Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked."

Paul is telling us that this is the most important armour; "above all". When we put on our "shield of FAITH" we can quench [or s***f out] all of Satan's fiery darts. There is absolutely NOTHING Satan can send against you mentally, if you are filled with the Seal of the Living God. God even went far beyond that when He gave to Satan the "keys of authority" for his tribulation rule.

God said in Revelation 9:4 "And it was commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thin, neither any tree; but only those men which have not the seal of God in their foreheads."

That Seal of God is the Scriptures; all of it, and it had better be stored IN your mind [that's your "forehead"].

The "shield" is our faith, or the certain knowledge that we know that when Satan comes against us, we will automatically be given the moves we are to take to shield ourselves from him. Whatever comes our way will be s***fed out today, tomorrow, and right into Christ's Millennium age. Your faith is not only your belief, but your acting on that belief; which is sustained by your confidence that God WILL Perform that what He Said He Will Do. All things will come to pass "exactly" as He said it would in His Word.

Ephesians 6:17 "And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:"

The "sword of the spirit" is the "Word of God". Revelation 1:16 tells us that the sword is a two edged sword that destroys all of Satan's lies and deceptions. It is the Word of God, from the Mouth of God, and written for us in the Bible.

Our head is the most vulnerable part of our body; Therefore our salvation had better be secure and sure in our mind. Our "salvation" is the most sure thing we can have, for it is Christ that does the saving, and it comes through our belief in Jesus Christ, and His Work on the Cross: His death and resurrection. All this was done by Him to pay the price for each and every sin that we have done. However, those sins are only forgiven by Him through our repentance to God, in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Then our sins are all blotted out from the view of the Father, and we are accepted into His family. We become the sons [daughters] of God, and joint heirs with Christ in God's Kingdom.

Ephesians 6:18 "Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;"

Make sure that it is your spirit that is guiding your prayer, and "not your flesh". Look out for each other, and keep other Christians warm in the Spirit. Make intercessory prayers for each other, and give support and backing to your Christian Brethren. Ask God for all the tools to fight your spiritual battles, and He will even lay on your heart and mind the burden for your Christian brethren.

Ephesians 6:19 "And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel,"

The "mystery of the gospel" was stated in Ephesians 1:4. "I chose you before the foundations of this world", that was the "overthrow of Satan" in the first earth age. If you proved yourself worthy then, you will prove yourself worthy in this earth age. Romans 8 documents this and gives us a second witness to this, as to how you were chosen, or predestined.

The Sword is very powerful, and can even divide the soul from the spirit. The spirit is the intellect in which the souls think. The Word of God in our minds will allow us to speak boldly of God's Word, for then we need not run from anyone.

Not only will the Word keep your soul body in line, but it will also straighten out your flesh body. It will show you how you are to control your flesh.

Ephesians 6:20 "For which I am an ambassador in bonds: that therein I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak."

Paul is speaking, and commanding that you and I should speak the Truths of God's Word, that we be direct and forthright. That we be bold in what we say and speak with authority. We can do that when we have the :whole armor on". Your faith will allow you to speak boldly, and with confidence.

Armour Up Soldiers!

"But let all those that put their trust in Thee rejoice: let them ever shout for joy, because Thou defendest them: let them also that love Thy name be joyful in Thee. For thou, LORD, wilt bless the righteous; with favour wilt Thou compass him as with a shield."

"Seek Ye First The Kingdom Of God"

"But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you."
Matthew 6:33

When we lose sight of God, it’s pretty easy to get caught up in the ways of the world. To become distracted by our cares and concerns of life.

In a sense, we become like Peter when he walked on water. He took his eye off Jesus for just a moment, and that caused him to sink. Peter’s faith wavered, and that is why he began to sink.

Peter took his eye off Jesus as he heard the sound of a wrestling wind. Peter became distracted by a concern, when his focus should have remained on Christ. As Jesus was the one who enabled him to walk on water in the first place, (Matthew 14:28-31).

It’s an important story and life lesson we should never lose sight of.

For us, life can be so chaotic at times, it may leave us wondering where our next meal is going to come from. We may even wonder how we are going to clothe ourselves and our families, even to the point of providing a roof over our heads.

Yet, these are the times…

When that anxiety and panic set in, that we remember Christ’s words.

"Seek First The Kingdom Of God"

When our worries and cares begin to consume us, that is when it’s time to let go of them. That is when we remember, we are to seek first the Kingdom of God. Not seek after desires or needs of the flesh.

Do you know why?

…Your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.
Matthew 6:32

Our Heavenly Father knows you need daily food, clothing, and a roof over your head. He knows you need those things to sustain yourself. He is very aware of your situation, though it may not seem that way at times.

Yet, if "we seek first the kingdom of God", that means we are placing our faith, hope, and trust in Him. We are trusting that God will be there to help us through the bad times when we have done all that we are able.

When we do that,

…All these things shall be added unto you.
Matthew 6:33

Worrying has never put food in a man’s belly, or clothes on his back. Worrying has never made a man younger, only older.

When we consume ourselves with worry over the cares and concerns of life, it shows God we have a lack of faith in His ability. Just like Peter walking on the water.

As Peter began to sink into the sea, Jesus said to him,

"O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt?"
Matthew 14:31

My Christian brothers and sisters…

Why doubt about your daily life struggles?

If you have placed your faith, hope, and trust in God. If you are living according to His Word. Then God will always be with you, and God will always see you through, (Psalms 121:7-8).

That does not mean a little wrestling wind will not come in your direction. Yet, it is how you respond to that wind. It is how you respond to the crisis in your life that prove your faith to God.

Details on Parable of The Ten Virgins.
========================
As the story goes, five were wise and five were foolish. All 10 had an initial supply of oil to fuel their lamps, but the foolish did not take any extra oil in their flasks. While the Bridegroom delayed, they all got drowsy and began to sleep.

At midnight, when the shout came that the Bride￾groom was coming, all 10 virgins rose up to meet
him. But the foolish virgins did not have enough oil to keep their lamps burning.

• So, when they asked the wise for some of their oil, the wise answered, “No, there will not be enough for us and you too; go instead to the dealers and buy some for yourselves” (Matt. 25:9). This session covers:

• An overview of the parable of the ten virgins

• The need to be on the alert and to purchase more oil for our lamps

• How to develop an intimate relationship with Jesus This session corresponds to:

• While the foolish virgins went to make the purchase, the Bridegroom came and those who were ready—that is, those who had enough oil for their lamps—went into the wedding feast and the door was shut.

• Later, when the foolish virgins wanted to come into the wedding feast, the Bridegroom said to them, “Truly I say to you, I do not know you” (Matt. 25:12).

• Jesus concludes the parable with this challenge: “Be on the alert then, for you do not know the day nor the hour” (Matt. 25:13). 2. This parable is a prophecy of what the church will look like and how it will function in the end times.

• This parable is set in the context of a larger section of Scripture, which begins with Jesus’ disciples asking Him, “What will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?” (Matt. 24:3).

• Jesus answered this question with a detailed description of end-time events, stating that there will be famines, earthquakes, wars, upheavals, offenses, apostasy, persecution, and even the worship of the Antichrist (Matt. 24).

• However, what many people don’t notice is that Jesus’ answer does not end with this list. He goes on in the next chapter to tell the parable of the 10 virgins (Matt. 25).

• Like the five wise virgins, we are to live with the same type of anticipation for our upcoming wedding day. Though we don’t know the day or the hour, we do know that the Bridegroom will return soon.

• Like an ancient Jewish bride waiting with great anticipation for her wedding day, we need to be alert, watchful, and focused on getting ready for our marriage to Jesus.

• Before the Lord returns, the church will know her bridal identity, she will make herself ready, and she will be seeking to know Jesus as a Bridegroom God. Who Are the Five Foolish Virgins? The way people interpret this parable determines how much energy they put into making themselves ready
• Those who apply this parable to someone other than themselves rarely take this call seriously. Many who think this way believe they are automatically wise virgins because they are born again.

• On the other hand, those who view both the wise and the foolish virgins as true believers usually see the urgent need to make themselves ready.
• So the question we must answer is: Who are the five foolish virgins? Some interpret the five foolish virgins as non-believers.

• A number of scholars interpret the five foolish virgins as individuals who profess Christ as their Savior but are not really converted to the faith.

• Others interpret the foolish virgins as the Jews who rejected Jesus at His first coming.

• Few scholars from earlier generations have viewed the foolish virgins as true believers. 3. As the Holy Spirit unveils the mystery of the bride of Christ in our day, many leaders now view the foolish virgins as true believers. • Mike Bickle of the International House of Prayer in Kansas City and Bob Sorge of Oasis House Ministries, for example, both concur that all 10 virgins are sincere believers.

• Rick Joyner of Morningstar Ministries writes in his book, The Final Quest, that the foolish virgins are true believers who possess eternal life, but they occupy the lowest rank in heaven.4 4. There is strong scriptural evidence that all 10 virgins are true believers who are waiting for the Bridegroom to return.

• First, Paul called believers “pure virgin[s]” betrothed to one Husband, Jesus Christ (2 Cor. 11:2).

• When we are born again, we become like a virgin in the site of God. The blood of Jesus justifies us, washes away our sins, and makes our spirit new (Rom. 5:1; Heb. 12:23). So, it would be biblically consistent for Jesus to use this same symbolism in His parable.

• In addition, consider that both the wise and the foolish had an initial supply of oil. Traditionally, some have reasoned that the foolish virgins did not have any oil; therefore, since the oil represents the Holy Spirit, they were never truly born again.

• However, notice what Matthew 25:8 says: “The foolish said to the prudent, ‘Give us some of your oil, for our lamps are going out.’”

• The word for “going out” in the Greek means “to extinguish, quench, to put out.”5 You can only extinguish a fire that is burning. You can’t extinguish something that has never burned.
• Therefore, this Greek word shows us that the foolish virgins’ lamps were being extinguished, meaning they once had light in them. And since you can’t have light without oil, all 10 virgins must have had an initial supply of oil in their lamps.

• Another point is that all 10 virgins went out to meet the Bridegroom when He came (Matt. 25:6-7). Unbelievers, or those only superficially professing to believe in Jesus, would not be interested or eager to meet Him. Only born-again believers would be waiting for His coming.

• Finally, the number of virgins—10—supports the idea that the virgins represent all believers. • In the ancient east, symbolism was often used to convey and emphasize a particular truth. Biblically speaking, 10 represents the totality of the issue or circumstance being discussed.

• For example, the totality of God’s Law was summarized with 10 commandments. The totality of God’s judgments upon Egypt was released through 10 plagues. The totality of testing for some believers in the church of Smyrna was carried out in 10 days (Rev. 3:10). The Parable of the Ten Virgins 127 128 Understanding the Bride of Christ •

So, when Jesus said that 10 virgins went out to meet Him, He was saying that the totality of the church—that is, every born-again believer—will go out to meet Him when He returns.

• In summary, there is strong biblical evidence that all 10 virgins were true born-again believers. And as we will see in the next section, only half were wise! The Wise Virgins Contrasted with the Foolish Virgins 1. The wise virgins’ lights shined brightly because they were empowered by their secret life in God.

• In this parable, the lamps symbolize the virgins’ external life in God, and it shined forth the light of their relationship with Jesus.

• Observe what Jesus said: You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden; nor does anyone light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on the lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven (Matt. 5:14-16).

• The wise virgins’ light was their godly character. It was the fire of their passion for Jesus and the brilliance of their ministry, service, and good works. It was the power of God working through them because they were fully yielded to the Holy Spirit.

• In summary, their light represented the external fruit of their personal walk with the Lord.

• The lamps described in this parable were actually torches that were fed by a small vessel containing oil. These vessels held a small amount of oil and had to be frequently replenished. Without the constant supply of oil, the light would go out quickly.

• The oil that fueled these lamps was hidden by the vessel that contained it. • Just as oil was hidden in flasks, the wise virgins lamps burned brightly because of their hidden relationship with the Bridegroom.

• This oil of intimacy could only be purchased by each virgin individually, and it could only be purchased in the secret place of intimacy with Jesus (Matt. 25:9; Rev. 3:18). 2. The wise virgins pursued intimacy with the Bridegroom whereas the foolish did not. • The Greek word for foolish is moros, which basically means being dull or sluggish.

• The foolish virgins were not evil; they were good people who were dull and sluggish in their walk with the Lord. Because they took their position as the bride of Christ for granted, they grew lukewarm.

• Rather than living in the Spirit, the foolish virgins lived by human reason, logic, and self-will (1 Cor. 2:12-16). Though they were born again, they were entangled in the business of life and were weighed down by the cares of the world.

• Because they did not make intimacy with Jesus their number one priority, Jesus spoke these sobering words to them: “Truly I say to you, I do not know you” (Matt. 25:12)
• Throughout the Bible, the word “know” often suggests knowing someone fully or intimately. In fact, the Hebrew word for “know” is sometimes used to describe physical intimacy between a husband and wife (Gen. 4:1, NKJV)
• The Greek word used for “know” in this parable is oida, which means “fullness of knowledge.” This type of knowledge is fully developed, as opposed to knowledge that is still growing.9

• Thus, Jesus was not saying He did not know who the foolish virgins were, for He is omniscient. He was saying that He did not know them intimately. • In contrast, the wise virgins developed an intimate relationship with Jesus.
• The wise virgins lived differently than the foolish. They paid the price to purchase the oil that kept their lights burning brightly.

• They also remained awake and alert (Matt. 25:13).
• The wise virgins went to the secret place on a regular basis to meet with their Bridegroom, and as a result, developed an intimate relationship with Jesus.
• When the Bridegroom returned, therefore, the wise virgins had plenty of oil, their lamps burned brightly, and Jesus knew them intimately.

• Because the wise virgins took their personal relationship with God seriously, they were ready for the Bridegroom’s coming and were welcomed at the wedding feast.

Note
====
The fate of the left behind foolish virgins is described in Revelation 7:9-14 and Revelation 15:1-3, and Revelation 13.

They will enter heaven later after 42 months but by much persecution, they will have to refuse the mark of the beast and die for Christ. They will not escape the evil tyrannical era of the antichrist, during that time, they will forsake their wrong worldly appetite and priorities and follow Christ with all their hearts without lukewarmness, that way they will be also ready for eternity.
