DON'T LOSE HOPE

Living in unjoyable situation for some longtime makes us feel discouraged, lose hope & we get demotivated but we forget that most of these situations have a time limit & soon they wil come to an end.

Isreal faced drought, famine for 3yrs, hunting the Lord's followers & the situation was really unejoyable but in 1KINGS:18:1~ Thru Elijah the Lord begun restoring hope & putting the situation back to order. You might be feeling bad due to the different situations you are facing but don't lose hope because the Lord is yet to restore & put things to order. Pray, hv faith in Him, All will be well.

MIND MORE ABOUT WHAT GOD SAYS THAN WHAT MAN SAYS

**Luke:8:40-56*

We are in a situation where everyone is worried and wondering how we shall get out of such a period, many of us are discouraged by what we hear: how the situation is getting tough, there is no hope, businesses are breaking down, families are breaking down, people are suffering in different ways and all this breaks us down and sometimes we feel like we can't manage or move on any longer ... BUT What does God/Christ say? :

> Verse o50:"......... Just have faith she (You) will be healed."

I believe we have heard alot of the negativity and how it can't be possible But let's mind more of what our Savior and Creator says than what man says.

*With Him all is possible* .

PRAYER : May the Almighty God gives us the faith and trust to totally believe in Him. Amen.

JESUS AT THE CENTER

(COLOSSIANS 3:12-17)
Christ is the center of everything;
Center of our faith and prayer
He’s our only hope as Christians
He is at the center because of who he is
He gives us the power to see it through by making us alive in Christ, forgiven and victorious
He is to be at the center of our mind, our thinking, decisions and plans.
Today we focus on the idea that Christ is the center of our lives. This captured the thoughts of Colossians. I pray that it captures our hearts as we consider that there is no part in our lives that escapes the presence of Christ and that’s the comfort for all of us as Christians.

When we read from Colossians 3, it provides us a guide on how to use freedom in Christ to stay above sin and how to keep Christ first in everything that we do. Colossians 3:12-13, speaks about clothing ourselves with kindness, compassion, humility, gentleness and patience. This calls us to bear with each other and forgive whatever grievance we have against one another for when we have Christ at the center we reason everything in a way of Christ. At this time if you have a problem with your neighbor its high time you became one with him/her because we may not know what tomorrow may bring. In chapters 14 and 15 encourages us to love and bear with each other just like Christ loved us as we all know that love covers a multitude of things. Chapter 16, says ‘Christ’s message with all its richness MUST live in your hearts’ and this is our assurance as Christians that Christ lives in us as long as we accept him.
At this time when we seem not to be knowing what will be next after the lockdown and when will that be, its high time we tried our best to involve God in everything we do, if you have been trusting him for academics, am sure now u have seen the reason to trust him more even when academics are no longer going on, whether in peace or sorrow, good or bad, in failure or success, in lack and in plenty. Let’s put God at the center while we talk, walk, look, make decisions or plans and etc. because he has better plans for us just as he said in Jeremiah 29:11. Up to now if a day comes down and you are too busy to say thank you God, my friend in good faith lets create time for god in our hearts. The psalmist says;
Jesus at the center of it all *2
From beginning to the end
It will always be, it’s always been you, Jesus
When you continue with this song he says Jesus be the center of my life and also says nothing else matters, nothing else will do, Jesus you are the center and everything revolves about you Jesus.
I pray we meditate about this song and realize that nothing matters without him.
May god bless you.

HOW TO COLLECT A FELLOW CHRISTIAN

Romans14:13 says: "Let us not pass judgement on one other any longer, but rather decide never to put astambling block or hindrance in the way of a brother".

There are right ways to correct other believer, and there are wrong ways to correct other believers. So, what's the diffrence? It takes Judgement, " why do you pass judgement on your brother?" ( Romans14:10) to mean two things.
Spirit of Brotherhood.
First, don't be critical of your fellow believer without manifesting strong affection of brotherly love. You can see how I'm saying it because I'm leaving room for all the texts that say to correct one another, admonish one onther, rebuke, that say to correct one another. You've got to pass judgement if you're going to obey the Bible.
But this text has got to mean something when it says, " Don't judge," and the first thing I'm picking up is from the word brother. See the highlight on " your brother".
"Why do you pass judgement on your brother?" In other wa, some admonishing, some rebuking, let your brotherhood be all over it - not a spirit of condemnation.
Don't treat a fellow believer as unblievers. Don't pass final judgement on them . Don't say to abrother, because of some meat thing, or vegitable thing or day thing or wine thing , " you can't be a Christian. You're not a Christian.
Be blessed.

OUR ONLY HOPE.

“Some day you will read or hear that Billy Graham is dead. Don’t you believe a word of it? I shall be more alive than I am now, I will have changed my address. I will have gone in the presence of God.” ~ BILLY GRAHAM

Brethren, we are in a situation where the song is “the beauty of our country is slain upon thy high places. How the mighty have fallen.” This is because we have high death rates due to the pandemic. but Apostle Paul says in “2nd Timothy 1:12” that we know whom we have believed is able to keep what we have committed to him until that day when we see His face. And that’s nothing other than our faith. Brothers and sisters I don’t know if you have that very hope in Christ as that of billy graham knowing in whom you have committed your soul and if your worthy to be in the presence of GOD if the call is made. And you can make that commitment today.

PRAYER; heavenly father I thank you for today and for the gift of life. I renew my faith and choose to hope in you today so that my name is in book of life and I will be able to be in your presence when I depart in this earthly life. AMEN
