Love your church ,support your church.
5 painful things that many Pastors and Church-Leaders are going through.
1. Compared
“The fastest way to kill something especial is to compare it to something else.”
Though this can also be a good challenge for a Pastor or a leader to grow and make the best out of themselves, comparing them to others is definitely a very hurtful thing, and most of time destructive to their confidence and creativity.
2. Rebuffed
“I did my best, but i guess my best wasn’t good enough.” 😅
How devastating it is, when you think you are doing your best but someone will negatively criticise you and not being constructive with it? Again, a hurtful thing and most of time destructive to their confidence and creativity.
3. Mobbed
“Napagkakaisahan”
Because our Pastor is in the spotlight, most of the time, he or she is a victim of being mobbed. We take feast of his or her mistakes or shortcomings, and talk behind his or her back.
4. Unfriended
This is true.
Because many of us are still hiding some dirty secrets in our lives, we tend to put some high boundaries with our Pastors or Church leaders.
Their disciplines are mistaken as them being a “killjoy”. So, better if their presence is not around.
Etc.
5. Belittled
While many of the members are professionals, with a degree, well-off, multi-talented, many of our Pastors and leaders are not like that. And often, we compare their abilities and knowledge with ours, taking feast of his or her mistakes and shortcomings behind their backs.
Now, these “hurtful” things can be used for their growth if we will do it constructively, with love, and with reverence.
Like what i’ve said before, God has placed us in our Churches to be a blessing and not an additional burden. Kaya sana let’s be there to build up the Church and not to be like an agent of the enemy to tear it down.
