My name is Stephen Ogwang an evangelist pastor working in Uganda East Africa with my wife Oliver Akia. I am a Ugandan native living in Uganda and a founding pastor of an indegenious church;
revival center churches Mbuya. It is an independent church, Am desirous of having people to work with to help further the kingdom of God, Our pastors here in Uganda Africa about 95 percent of them are either semi trained or untrained making it hard to have wonderful ministries though they are called and do have spiritual gifts i thus feel a strong calling to minister/teach and encourage others how to be Christ-like and obedient. But we don't have enough resources, thus we seek financial support. I studied for many years, earning a number of certificates of attendance from local training here, but this time i would like to have an opportunity to go for a trip out of our homeland together with my wife Oliver Akia with aim of attending a workshop or training and rub shoulders with people from other culture, and then come back and train our people or if grants are provided we want to set up a discipleship center here at Uganda East Africa.
I hope to perform services at some point, as well as minister for my church, plant churches. do discipleship meetings as my wife does children ministry and praise and worship. It is upon this premise that we seek funds to plant and build churches.
I came to know God as a child. I was raised in an Anglican household. My faith has been tested and life has had a lot of setbacks and hurdles for me to face. I believe each occurred and several repeated to teach me lessons and to build my endurance and my faith to perform my mission in this life and to the next in His Kingdom.
I was called into ministry 15 years ago. I heard the Lord’s voice speak to me for the first time in my life. In being so busy and taking so much on myself, I lost sight of my true purpose and blocked out what the Lord has been trying to show me, i feel a lot of hunger to serve God, plant churches, reach the unreached, help the less advantaged and do ministry....
