Rev Fr. Samuel Walakira together with Good Samaritans of Nansana Parish showed love and compassion by visiting the sick and the elderly on 11th February 2026

Pastoral care was also offered through the Sacrament of the Anointing of the sick, a sign of God's healing, comfort and strength to those facing illness and old age.

May this remind us all to care for and support the sick and elderly in our communities through prayer, love and presence.🙏

WORLD DAY OF THE SICK

Sunday 15th February 2026 @ Lubaga

My dear Brothers and Sisters, in his message for the World Day of the Sick, Pope LeoXIV reminds us to imitate the Good Samaritan, who did not walk away from suffering but stopped, cared and loved with action.

He calls us to show compassion not only with words,but with presence, kindness, and practical help to the sick, the elderly and the weak.

The Holy Father teaches us that the sick are not burden but a blessing to the church and that those who care for them serve Christ himself.

He entrusts all who suffer to Our Lady, Health of the Sick and gives his blessing to every patient, family, and caregiver.

May we be Church that heals, comforts and walks together in love🙏.

Good news from Nansana Parish. They celebrated good samaritan day with mass honoring ba Jajja n'abakadde. The medical camp is managed by St. Kizito Bwayise H/C III. They have introduced a 15 million project. May God bless the work of their hands ✋️ 🙏 🙌
