Praying together as a family is the number one key to keep the family connected to the source - that is God. It allows each member of the family to come together in the name of Jesus and be able to stand in the gap for one another and pray for one another. The family alter needs to be kept on fire and become a place where true connection with God and with one another is obtained.
This is also one way to teach the children about God, prayer, worship, the word and help them to recieve spiritual food.
In this season as we handle marriage and family as a ministry, we encourage you to rekindle your prayer alter and come together as a family.
Know the difference between prayer requests that can be prayed with the children and that you can only pray as a couple. But all in all, a family that prays together stays together.
May God answer all the prayer requests on your prayer alters and help you to grow spiritually as individuals and as families in Jesus name.
