Proverbs 14:33 (KJV) Wisdom resteth in the heart of him that hath understanding: but that which is in the midst of fools is made known.

SEEK UNDERSTANDING

Understanding is the spirit of righteous judgment in the things you perceive spiritually.

When a man is established in understanding, he spiritually judges things in the same way that God would.

Our theme scripture says wisdom rests where understanding is. If you do not have understanding, wisdom does not rest and when wisdom has not rested, you live a life unstable in the things of God.

What this means is that there are ups and downs in both your spiritual and physical character. For instance, there are people who demonstrate wisdom in something and then the next day do something so shockingly unwise. It is because wisdom in them is restless by reason of their lack of understanding.

When you receive an understanding heart, wisdom will rest; you will live a life constantly going upward. You will be a pattern for success. Praise God!

Matthew 21:21-22 (KJV) Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done. And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.

FAITH IS A PLACE ISSUE

Faith is not mental assent; if you believed, it must work. The question is: did you really believe? God is not a liar.

In our theme scripture, He said, whatsoever you ask when you believe, you shall receive it. Faith never fails.

Faith is a place issue: it is about where you are in the spirit. These places in the spirit are places of knowledge. Some people are in the place where they assume if something doesn't work, it was not God's will. Such do not know that He has made known unto us the mystery of His will (Ephesians 1:9) and that all His promises are ye and amen( 2 Corinthians 1:20).

Look at Jesus when dealing with the Pharisees. He made a paralytic to walk by telling him that his sins were forgiven him. The Pharisees considered it as blasphemy: that was their place of faith because they could not understand the possibility of healing by simple forgiveness. When the Lord realised that, He chose to deal with them from the level of what was easier for them which was telling the man to get his bed and walk (Luke 5:20-23).

The knowledge in your spirit must cause you to believe and demonstrate God’s power through extra-ordinary means. You are called to higher places of faith. Hallelujah!

Mark 16:17-18(KJV) And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

THE THINGS AHEAD OF THE BELIEVER

A believer is not supposed to seek for miracles; they are supposed to follow him.

As the Church of Christ, we ought to consider teaching those things that are ahead of us and not only the things that follow us. Because we have taught the things that follow men only, it has dwarfed the aspirations of many ministers in our generation: they don't behold the higher calling in Christ.

What then is before the believer? These are the things that no eye has seen, no ear has heard and have not entered into the hearts of men (1 Corinthians 2:9); they are the milestones of eternity; the realities of our reign as our kingship and priesthood (Revelation 5:10); the worlds that we must create by the power of the Word of God (Hebrews 11:3). Hallelujah!

Philippians 3:20 (KJV) For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ.

THE LATENT POWER OF AN ETERNAL MINISTER

Our theme scripture reveals that our conversation is in heaven; some Bible versions use the word citizenship. Even if we live on the earth, by the spirit, we have a life, an existence and identity in eternity.

As such, ministry is a place issue: there are those who minister from the earth only, and those who minister from eternity. In eternity, earthly experiences are already a finished work.

The earthly minister will pray for God to bring men to his meeting, while the eternal minister will meditate men into the meeting because of what he or she beholds in the spirit.

As an eternal minister, everything you do is just a confirmation of the experience of what you see and know by the spirit.

It means that there is a creative force in an eternal minister by reason of what he beholds in the spirit that causes men to respond to his vision. That is the latent power of an eternal minister. Hallelujah!

Genesis 21:16-17 (KJV) And she went, and sat her down over against him a good way off, as it were a bow shot: for she said, Let me not see the death of the child. And she sat over against him, and lift up her voice, and wept. And God heard the voice of the lad; and the angel of God called to Hagar out of heaven, and said unto her, What aileth thee, Hagar? fear not; for God hath heard the voice of the lad where he is.

GOD IS MOVED BY HIS WORD

A Christian can die of thirst by the waters simply because he or she does not know the seed by which they ought to cry out to God.

Hagar wept because it seemed like she and her child were about to die of thirst yet the water was already available, she just couldn’t see it (Genesis 21:19).

But the real problem was that she had put the lad afar off.

In our theme scripture, the Lord asked her: What aileth thee, Hagar? fear not; for God hath heard the voice of the lad. She was weeping but God did not hear her; He heard the lad.

Ismael was the seed (son) of Abraham. Abraham is the representation of faith while by the testimony of Luke 8:11, the seed is the Word.

That means that God listens to a man of faith crying by the Word instead of merely one's emotional weeping. It is not about how much you cry in the presence of God, it is about how much revelation is in your spirit when you are talking to God.

Some people approach God with complaints: ‘God what did I ever do to you? Why am I going through this?’ No. First understand the Word of God pertaining to your issue. Don’t put the seed (the Word) away and start weeping like Hagar.

God will not hear you simply because you are crying; He is moved by revelation.

Hebrews 12:1 (KJV) Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us.

IGNORANCE IS AS A HEAVY WEIGHT

You move easily in and by the Spirit, as according to the level of knowledge in you.
Our theme scripture says: ‘let us lay aside every weight’. That weight is a result of some form of ignorance.

If a man is of a light yoke, there is a swiftness and speed in the things that he does, and the opposite is true.

Jesus says: ‘take my yoke for it is light’ (Matthew 11:30). In Him are hid all treasures of wisdom and knowledge (Colossians 2:3). His yoke is light because he is the embodiment of knowledge.

The Psalmist says: ‘when my heart is overwhelmed, lead me to a rock that is higher than I’ (Psalms 61:2). It is an instruction that for everything that weighs you down in the spirit, you ought to be introduced to a higher level of knowledge. Hallelujah!

Romans 8:19 (KJV) For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.

UNVEILING FOR MANIFESTATION

There are Christians who are veiled; even if they are sons of God, in the spirit. Creation looks at them but it doesn’t understand them and as such, they do not have results.

The Greek word used for manifestation in our theme scripture is apokalupsis, meaning unveiling.

God seeks to show us that creation is not waiting for you to perform a miracle (Phaneroo); it is waiting for you to be unveiled(apokalupsis) as a son of God.

Creatures in the spirit are not waiting for you to do something supernatural; they are waiting for your identity in the spirit to be clearly defined because according to them, when a child of God speaks, they must respond.

Things in the world yield to us because they know who we are. Sometimes, the issue is not what you are praying for; sometimes the issue is that what you are praying for does not understand you.

The secret is in the unveiling (apokalupsis) because it brings understanding and revelation, revelation attaches you to divine purpose and divine purpose brings manifestation (Phaneroo). Be unveiled and you will walk in the supernatural. Hallelujah!

Principalities know me, powers and dominion know me, money knows me, and disease knows me. I walk in the supernatural more than ever before because things respond to me. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
