Comparison of the Church and the Temple (Matt 21:10-15)
:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::

During the time of Jesus, the temple had been turned into a business center (like today's shopping malls). When Jesus entered the temple, He drove out all those who were conducting businesses and overturned their tables with great fury. He said that His house shall be a house of prayer and not a den of robbers. After this incident, the blind and lame came to Him and He healed them.

When we see the church today, places of worship have become more of business centers rather than for worshipping the sovereign God. Some church leaders look at believers as economic resources. This system is a hindrance to the ministry of Jesus Christ.

Jesus does not change. His Word does not change. What He hated 2000 years ago, He still hates today.

Jesus Changes Not
:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::

Everyday, the world revolves and evolves. Times change, people change, governments change...and like we like to say, "Change is a fact of life." However, Jesus Christ never changes! He is the same yesterday, today and forever. (Heb 13:8)

What He did 2000 years ago, He is still doing the same today: the blind receive sight, the lame walk, lepers get cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised and the Good News is being proclaimed to the poor. (Matt 11:5)

He commanded us to proclaimed the same message. He commissioned us to heal the sick, drive out demons, raising the dead, giving freely what we have freely received. (Matt 10:7-8)
These miracles and signs do follow those who believe and are part and parcel of the gospel.

In Missions Arise, we have witnessed the sick get healed from incurable diseases. We have witnessed Him do the impossible, beyond the limits of science. For example, chiropractors estimate that over 90% of the entire world population is affected by Long Limb Imbalance, a condition that causes fatigue, chronic back pain, nerve inflammation in the lower back, knee/ankle pain, migraines among others. Currently, there is not known cure for the condition apart procedures to ease the pain and discomfort.

However, we have witnessed Jesus heal thousands of people with Long Limb Imbalance in just a matter of seconds. This is evidence that what is impossible for man and science, is possible with God! It is an indication that every Word that God has spoken will come to pass.
