25 Years of Grace and Devotion 🕊️✨
“I will sing of the mercies of the Lord forever.” — Psalm 89:1
Today, we join in joyful thanksgiving as we celebrate the Silver Jubilee of Sr. Winifred Tugumisirize and Sr. Prossy Naturinda in religious life.

Sr. Winfred Tugumisirize is currently the Treasurer General of the Congregation of the Sisters of Our Lady of Good Counsel. She is born from Nangara in Christ the King Parish Kabale.

Sr. Prossy Naturinda is currently serving as the Principal Information Technology Officer (PITO) at the Uganda Health Professions Assessment Board (UHPAB). She is born from Muyumbu in St. Francis Parish Kyanamira.

Twenty-five years ago, they said “Yes” to a life of service, and their journey since has been a beautiful reflection of faith, hope, and selfless love.

We are so grateful for the lives they have touched and the light they bring to our community. May the Lord continue to bless their path as they renew their commitment to His work today.

What a week it’s been! The energy at the Communications Week 2026 at Urlika Guest House Kisubi has been absolutely electric. 🎤📱
From deep dives into the latest AI-driven media trends to late-night strategy sessions with the industry's brightest minds, we are truly witnessing the next evolution of how we connect and share stories.
Highlights so far:
Keynote Breakthroughs: Learning how to balance high-tech tools with high-touch human storytelling (communication).
Collaborative Spirit: Meeting so many talented professionals who are all pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in our field (networking and collaboration).
The Vision: Looking ahead at how transparency and digital ethics will shape the next decade of media.
It’s more than just a seminar; it’s a reminder that no matter how much the technology changes, the heart of communication remains the same: connecting people (preserving human faces and voices).
Stay tuned for more updates as we wrap up the final sessions! 🚀✨

The Catholic Bishops of Mbarara Ecclesiastical Province today concluded their 5 day pastoral visit to Kabale Diocese with Mass presided over by His Grace Lambert Bainomugisha Archbishop of Mbarara Archdiocese. The visit is a manifestation of the collegiality and unity which exists in the province since all the 5 Dioceses were at one time a single Rwenzori Vicariate.

During Mass, Christians were reminded to stir the faith they received from the missionaries and always strive to make themselves better in terms of their relationship with God and others.

They were also reminded to always pray together in families, work together for the development of their families and see that their children complete schooling.
