Ukhuwah Islamic Mission is a non-profit organization based in Jinja Uganda and it was founded on 12/May/2014 by a group of Muslim youths as a platform to champion for the education of the Muslim youths in Uganda. This includes Formal education by searching for and offering scholarships to the needy Muslim Youths. Informally by championing for the rise of an educated Islamic Ummah in Uganda which is well equipped with knowledge of the Quran and its sciences as well the true Islamic code of conduct. It should be noted that most schools in Uganda are multi-religious and the Muslim students tend to be the least favoured since they are the minority in most cases so we aim at taking up the challenge together with other Muslim organizations to champion for their rights.
