There’s something special about watching a vision slowly become a reality.
These new classrooms are more than just bricks, cement, and roofing sheets. They represent opportunity, growth, and hope for many children in Bugoba.

Every wall being raised is creating space for more students to learn, dream, ask questions, and build a better future. In communities like Bugoba, education is truly one of the greatest blessings. It opens doors, strengthens families, and gives children the chance to grow with confidence and purpose.

We are deeply thankful to every person who has prayed, given, encouraged, and supported this classroom project so far. Your generosity is helping create a place where young minds will be shaped for years to come. What may look like a building site today will soon become classrooms filled with learning, laughter, worship, friendship, and future leaders.

As our school continues to grow, this new classroom block is so important. More families are looking for quality education for their children, and this space will help us welcome and serve even more students well.

Thank you for believing in the children of Bugoba and investing in a future that will impact generations. The work is still continuing, but we are grateful for how far God has already brought us.

School break hits different here. 🌿

When our high school and primary students head home for the holidays, “rest” looks a little different and we love it.

Some are out in the gardens with their parents, hands in the soil. Others are gathering firewood for the evening meals. A few are out in the fields, walking with the animals as they graze. From sunrise to sunset, life is being lived, and lessons are being learned that no classroom can teach.

What makes us proudest isn’t just the work ,it’s the attitude. These young people are showing up for their families with willing hearts, serving their parents, guardians, and grandparents in the small, ordinary ways that hold a home together. And in return, they’re being poured into, receiving wisdom, love, blessings, and the kind of guidance that only comes from those who’ve walked the road before them.

For the students who stay back at school during term time, holidays become a chance to bring something home too, sharing what they’ve learned, leading family devotions, helping younger siblings with their books, and being a light right where they are. This is what we mean when we say we’re raising the whole child, strong in mind, strong in spirit, and not afraid of hard work. 💪🏾

To our partners, and friends around the world this is what your giving builds. Not just classrooms and meals and uniforms, though those matter deeply. You are helping to raise a generation of young Ugandans who are rooted in their families, grounded in their faith, and learning that education and service walk hand in hand. Every child you sponsor, every prayer you send up, every shilling and dollar you give, it travels further than you know. It reaches a girl threshing beans in her grandmother’s yard. It reaches a boy missing his mother’s house. It reaches a home, a village, a future.

From us at Yahweh, THANK YOU! You are family to us, and we carry you in our prayers as faithfully as you carry us in yours. 🙏🏾

There’s something powerful about a circle.

No one in front. No one behind. Just all of us, standing together.

As we prepare to celebrate another year of God’s faithfulness at Yahweh Tendereza, this moment says it better than words ever could. Different ages, different stories, different backgrounds… but one community, one purpose, one God who has held us together through it all.

What started small continues to grow, not just in numbers, but in unity, in joy, and in hope for what’s ahead.

This anniversary isn’t just about looking back. It’s about seeing what God is still building right in front of us.

And if this circle is any sign, the story is far from over.

Yahweh Tendereza @ 10years.

Sometimes that number feels small… until you remember the faces, the stories, the prayers, and the quiet moments where only God could have carried us through.

From simple beginnings to where we stand today, Yahweh Tendereza Ministries is a testimony of God’s faithfulness. Not our strength. Not our plans. His faithfulness.

These children, these classrooms, these ordinary days that are shaping futures… they are all evidence that God has been at work every single step of the way.

There were days we didn’t know how things would come together.
There were moments of stretching, refining, and trusting.
And yet, here we are. Ten years later.

As we move toward celebrating this milestone, we don’t just look back… we give thanks.
We remember.
We honor what God has done.
And we step forward with expectation for what He is still going to do.

“Till now, the Lord has helped us.” – 1 Samuel 7:12

The journey isn’t over. In many ways, it’s just beginning.

Some days, this is what the journey home looks like.

Three boys, one bicycle, school bags on their backs, laughter in the air, and a long red road ahead. No complaints. No excuses. Just determination.

This is the quiet resilience we see every day at Yahweh Tendereza Primary School. The hunger to learn doesn’t stop when the bell rings. It rides home on dusty roads, through villages, past trees and fields… carried by children who believe their future is worth the effort.

Moments like this remind us why we do what we do.

Education here isn’t just about books. It’s about hope. It’s about perseverance. It’s about raising a generation that keeps going, even when the road is not easy.

And honestly, there’s something beautiful about that.

We had the joy of hosting Athletes in Action, who came ready to teach volleyball… but gave us so much more than just skills on the court. Yes, our students and staff learned the game, grew in confidence, and discovered new abilities. But above all, they were reminded of something far greater, that our identity is not in performance, talent, or success, but in Christ alone.

What made this week special wasn’t just the training sessions. It was the way the team lived life with us.

They served in the kitchen with joy.
They embraced the dusty, bumpy boda boda rides through the village without complaint.
They showed up fully, whether in the classroom, on the field, or in quiet conversations.

They didn’t just visit Bugoba, they became part of it.

Together, we ran in the Bugoba Easter Marathon, shared meals, laughed deeply, and in other moments, sat in tears and prayer. There was a genuine connection, a shared faith, and a unity that only God can create.

To the Athletes in Action team, thank you. Thank you for pouring into our students, encouraging our staff, and reminding all of us what it looks like to live for something eternal.

You came to teach volleyball, but you left behind something much greater.

We are grateful.

What a special two days it has been for Yahweh Tendereza, competing beyond Bugoba.

Our students stepped onto a bigger stage, taking part in a tournament that brought together 23 teams from different schools. In the midst of that strong competition, they showed courage, teamwork, and determination.

We are incredibly proud of our girls for rising to the top and winning the netball tournament. And to our boys, well done for pushing hard and reaching the semi-finals. You represented Yahweh with heart.

These are the moments that shape our students. Traveling, competing, and standing strong among many teams builds confidence and character that goes far beyond the field.

A big thank you to our games teachers and the entire staff for your commitment and training. And to our dear partners, your support is what makes opportunities like this possible. Because of you, our students are growing, competing, and shining.

We are proud. And we are grateful.
