When you accept Jesus as Lord and Savior you take on a new identity. You no longer have to lug around names you were called or your identity before Christ. You are now everything God says you are. What Christ says about you trumps every negative word or name spoken against you. This is your inheritance as a child of God which makes knowing who you are in Christ important.
Below is a list of scripture statements. Begin discovering who you are in Christ. When someone speaks negatively of you, do not accept it. Cancel it out in the name of Jesus and confession what God says about you. If you are battling or struggling with something, use this list. If you are a new Christian and want to know who you are in Christ, use this list. Confess God’s word over yourself daily. God has given you power to speak and establish a thing. It is up to you to open your mouth and speak who you are in Christ.
