Disciple House Street teens Uganda

Disciple House Street teens Uganda We feel called to also preach the gospel amongst street kids, disciple them and guid them on the path that God is leading them.

Our mission is to share the full gospel, baptize in water and Spirit and teach people walk on their own faith, led by the Spirit and to go and make new disciples throughout Uganda. Which can be back to family, where we are looking for houses of peace, and also share the gospel. The disciple house is runned by the people that are guided by God to be here (temporarily) to help in discipleship. Joel

Muzaale is living here permanently. He shares his responsibility with Natascha van Gameren(traveling disciple), who is also closely involved. We work together with Benjamin Children's Ministry, which is also in Iganga, where homeless children can live long term. We do ministry together with them, but work as two separate organisations. We aim also for this place to also be a blessing for the neighborhood, to preach the gospel, heal the sick and cast out demons. The way you can support is through your prayers, by comming and join us in discipleship and by supporting us financially. We depend on the Lord supplying us, so we are be able to do the work of our King Jesus Christ. Do you want to help by supporting us? Then please send this to the following bank account mentioning your goal of giving, or send through PayPal using the following email address:

Dear brothers and sisters,
Next to the good work of God that is continuing, we also need your prayers and encouragement. Yesterday happened what we saw already coming. The second part of our house fell down. It turned in to a complete disaster. But we are immensely grateful that everyone is alive. πŸ™Œ
Joel was talking to a friend in front of the house when it collapsed and they got hit by bricks. Open found were treated at the hospital. Joel was not aware that his head was hit by a stone as well and thought he was vomiting because of the dust. But it's more likely that he's affected by concussion. His friend got more wounds than him.
Even though we still trust that God has been in the lead of it all they will get a more thorough checkup to rule out hidden injury, because of the concerning signs they show.

Joel had arranged profesional building inspection because tears in the wall became more visible during raining season. About 3 weeks ago he already evacuated the children to his own living room. And all Nataschas belongings were stored. And some friends addopted Joel's furniture.

We praise God that financial support was there right at the time for preparation. And even for first aid! πŸ™Œ Hallelujah!

The water tap is now burried under the wall that fell. But it was covered by the wheelbarrow, through the common sense of Joel.
Also the meter of the power was still connected to the house that fell.

It seems that Natascha is getting her long term visa in the coming two weeks. She's currently in the Nederland. We will rent a room to start with. And we will need guidance and wisdom on next steps to take. Should we sell the property and rent? Does God still have a plan with this place? Will other doors of housing open up? We don't have funds to really live out our vision at the moment. We long to have more space in our family house to receive guests for teaching weekends or weeks to train disciples now properly while feeling how to function as a body, as a real family of Christ. We see the fruits of that where we're able to bring believers together and put love in function in various ways. It's healing for the brokenness that people carry due to the extreme poverty that has shaped families here in Iganga.
We also need more direction. Are we meant to grow and process bamboo for furniture and construction? We have a place for learning these things, but no land to grow the bamboo on. So we need more direction and understanding of all things that God wants us to expect and base our choices on.
If any of you received anything in prayer for us, please feel free to share that with us. Because we are a body. The body of Christ. And that doesn't stop at the border of Iganga. πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡¬
Keep us in prayer please! We love you all.

The discipleship goes on. This is the sister of Justine. They baptized her today at the property of Blue. The man in the right is Tony, one of the staff from there. The fight was heavy to deliver her. But she's speaking in tongues and free now. Thank you Jesus.

These boys are so happy and thankful to go to school. And we want to thank you for your prayers, attention and support to make that happen through the grace of God.

We also received some one-time gifts. So if you decide to support one of the boys monthly, we will save up your gifts to pay for the following school term. (You can find the information in the previous post on our timeline.)

God bless you all πŸ™Œ
May we stay connected through Christ πŸ’ž
And the Holy Spirit πŸ•Što walk in peace and unity for the honor of the Glory of God.

It's been quiet on our Disciple House page. In the Disciple House itself, the opposite happened. And we're way behind in informing others about the goings-on here in DH Iganga.

At first, it was a real struggle to help Waiswa and his family while he was incarcerated. There seemed to be no hope of escape. But after several weeks and periods of standing together in the gap in the spiritual realm, he was finally released. We are very grateful to those who helped and prayed for him.
This whole situation has brought us closer together as a fellowship. It has also resulted in a deeper experience with God. This has led to wonderful growth within the fellowship itself. We now continually seek support from one another, and God continues to confirm that He works powerfully through this.

We meet three times a week, and a small group is always present. Together we listen to the Holy Spirit for revelation, ask for direction in our daily lives, and share our daily experiences with God. By growing in trust in God and intimacy with Him, we prepare the group to bear fruit within everyone's network. By first learning to walk together in unity, the group becomes more stable, enabling us to disciple others as well.
Four weeks ago, our team was strengthened by our sister Martta, from Finland.

From the discipleship house, our main goal is to be able to continue to share the gospel and to pray for healing here in Iganga, while equipping others to do the same. Yet, God seems to be drawing us to new places where long term discipleship is needed.

We recently connected with several teenagers living on the streets, seeking change in their lives. They chose to visit us and listen to what God wants to teach them. This isn't an easy process for some, as they have been deeply affected by street life and therefore don't really know how to navigate it in a healthy way. The most obvious example is the use of narcotics. Drinking paraffin is the most common way to do this. Yet, some people can stop using very quickly through a change, such as protection from the cold and fear.
Through these teenagers, we came into contact with a center called Peca. https://www.pecauganda.org At this center, we were asked to walk with the teenagers in discipleship. We started with the basics: who among these young people has been born again and who is ready for the next step in this process? We also go there three times a week and, in the coming period, will grow in learning to live with the Holy Spirit, based on the very practical transformation they may experience with Jesus. For only He can lead us to green pastures. He refreshes our souls and guides us in right paths to glorify His name.

Our house became too small while getting many visitors. Also the members of our household increased. It gives us peace to do. But we didn't have the capacity, which made us build a small shelter for our dining table.

God is good! And we rejoice in His work among us!
We ask for your prayers. After all, there is much to be done here. And our conclusion is that the laborers are few. The connections are also more prosperous than our location and resources. And we would like to do more promotion to help young people off the streets go to school. This creates a solid foundation for change for them.
For this reason, we will be sharing several promotional posts and videos that our followers can share, hoping they will generate some sponsorship.
We wish you all God's blessing. And know that you are always welcome to join and support the Iganga discipleship house.

Heloo brothers and sisters
We have sad breaking news .
Our brother Waiswa in our fellowship was taken over by the police in the evening as he was walking back to his place.
This happened as a result of political Rallies organised by the biggest opponents of the government during politics time last week.
Is this occasion some people were killed so people were forced pushed indoor but unfortunately waiswa had gone to work somewhere else .
On his way back home he didn't know that there were occasions happening in town and some people were killed.
So he was freely walking home but the security was too tight that they ambushed him and drugged him into the car .
He was taken to police custody with others .
He was accused of stunning the police men, killing others and causing rioting in town which is against the law but this was not true.
He was from work moving home to rest.
We tried to get him out but we failed since issues of politics against the government were raised against him .
He was then taken to court and they and then taken to Jail.
Today , the police called us that he was too sick.
Some members went there but the report say that he was beaten and he is not in good condition but they failed to handle him to them.
So now the news is that we need 500 euros to get him out before 15th Dec.
Because after that date we may not see him for three months .
We call upon everyone to pray with us and also help financially .
Any financial help can go

Hello brothers and sisters, we are delighted to share with you what had been and is still taking place at the Dh and fellowship at large.
There are more people Joining the fellowship and many getting baptized.
we are sharing a lot of teachings for example
How to stay connected to God after being baptized in water and in the spirit.
How to live in the community of both Born again and non baptized people.
To ask the holy Spirit to lead in every moment of the day.
Teaching the street children how to stay in the Lord and how to get off of drugs.
However , we still need volunteers because the work is becoming too big and there are several questions the people have .
Teaching people how to read is also important here because many don't know how to read which hinders them from reading the word of God which is the sword in Ephesians.
Also some people have questions on being baptized in the baptism bath ,," they think they have to be baptized in masses of water ( river/ lake ) like Jesus.
we also luck bibles where by people need to read the Bible in our local languages and we luck finances to do but for them.
so that's how the work is going here.
Any volunteer is welcome to Dh here

Praise Jesus brothers and sisters out there.
We are glad to have the ice bath to use in baptism .
This helps us to do the baptism as early as possible after repentance talks .
Since our region is land locked , we have been going through some difficulties on how , where and when to baptise.
More people are now knowing the truth and the truth is setting them free and choose the right path.
Indeed praise be to Jesus.

Hello everyone.
It has been a long time without updating about DH .
Alot had taken place in these past two months to the extent that l have to space to even update.
Now that l have done space l have even been able to make the compound better , though it has been a tough job and am tired abit.
I did in two shifts in morning and then after break and reading the Bible ,
I was feeling tired but Natascha and thr children for me them l got more energy to complete it.
I will slowly by slowly start updating some of the things that had happened here and the miracles from God at the DH and also in conjunction with BCM.
those who have been in the past two months can tell what always happens here when it rains, the compound because to muddy that you can not even walk .

Helooo everyone, praise King Jesus.
I have the good news and the sad news today.
I is had for me to mix both sadness and happiness but Jesus has been so good on my side.
Today , l met my sister in Jesus called Martta, she came to Uganda some years back but l was happy to see her again.
On meeting her, she came with other friends 4 friends some with whom they came to Uganda to have internship schooling of Midwifery, those were Anni, Sonja, Karolina and Vilma. That was soo cool to meet them.
We met in central Kampala at my brother's work place where he organised seats for us and we had to great each other and had few introductions of families and may be our Journeys.
We went to buy some food stuff called Rolex .
After that we also looked for pharmacy where they wanted to buy some gadgets used in the hospital like the pressure measurement.
After we had some meals and then l escorted them back from their residents .
Some of which used a car and others opted to use a body boda ( motorcycle) since they wanted to explore.
It was so amazing.
We prayed together before l left them.
