GOOD NEWS FOR OUR DIOCESE

Bunyoro Kitara Diocese has received a donation of a tractor from the Government of Uganda.

We, the Diocese of Bunyoro Kitara wish to express our utmost gratitude to the Government of the Republic of Uganda under the leadership of His Excellency Gen. Yoweri Kaguta Tibuhaburwa Museveni, through the Ministry of Agriculture, for planning to donate a tractor to each of the 37 Dioceses of the Church of the Province of Uganda.

While these tractors will be delivered in phases, Bunyoro Kitara Diocese has been among the early recipients. The handover ceremony of the said tractor to Bunyoro-Kitara Diocese was held at the Provincial Headquarters, Namirembe, on Tuesday 10th August 2021.

We appeal to our people to make use of this tractor to increase agricultural produce, create wealth and improve livelihoods.

We will soon provide information on how it will shared across the Diocese as well as the terms of engagement.
