A Christ-centered Baptist church in Gulu, glorifying God by making disciples; touching the campus and transforming nations with the gospel of Jesus Christ. CORE COMMITMENT:

Here’s how we intend to accomplish this mission.
1. Evangelize, Disciple and Mobilize university students.
2. Equip members to be disciple-making disciples.
3. Strengthen families by training couples, husbands, wives and children.
4. Strengthen the body of Christ through church planting and pastors’ training.

The Puritans understood prayer not merely as a religious duty, but as fellowship with God Himself. John Bunyan described prayer as “a sincere, sensible, affectionate pouring out of the heart or soul to God through Christ.”

As a church family, we have set aside this season to seek the Lord together in prayer—not with impressive words or routines, but with honesty, reverence, and dependence on Him.

Praying Together. Eating Together.

There is something special about gathering as a church family to pray and seek God together, and then ending the day by sharing snacks and fellowship around the table. We are grateful for these moments of encouragement, conversation, and community as we continue to seek the Lord together.

Day 2 of Our 10-Day Prayer & Fasting

“Seek the LORD while he may be found; call upon him while he is near.” — Isaiah 55:6

God graciously invites us to seek Him while He is near. There is no better time than now to humble ourselves in prayer, repent, and draw close to Him.

If you’re in Gulu, we would love for you to join us for our evening prayer gatherings Monday–Friday at 5:30 PM at University Community Church. Let’s seek the Lord together and trust Him to work in our lives, our church, and our city.

Last week, University Community Church (UCC) partnered with Filter of Hope to serve families in the Paicho and Tegot communities through Paicho Baptist Church and Tegot Baptist Church.

Filter of Hope is a wonderful ministry that shares the gospel while meeting a practical need. Through a simple water filter demonstration, families hear the good news of Jesus Christ and then receive a water filter to help provide safe, clean drinking water in their homes.

We are grateful for this opportunity to serve our neighbors in both word and deed.

A special thank you to Joshua Membe and the entire Filter of Hope team for your faithful partnership and for demonstrating Christ’s love in such a practical way. May God continue to use this ministry to bring both physical health and eternal hope to many more families.
