Chosen to Serve Ministries International is rooted in the principle that faith in God is the cornerstone of all its activities. This faith isn't just a belief; it's an active, guiding force in every endeavor the ministry undertakes.
At the heart of this ministry's work is the conviction that it takes faith to do God's work. This idea is resounded throughout the Bible, such as in Hebrews 11:1, which states, "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." This verse summarizes the essence of faith - a confident belief in what is not yet visible or realized.
Chosen to Serve Ministries operates in communities with weighty needs, both spiritual and physical. There's a great hunger for the gospel's message of hope and an acute need for basic necessities. Chosen to Serve Ministries understands that it has been positioned in these communities by God Himself to fulfill a divine purpose. There's a deep trust within the ministry that God, in His sovereignty, will oversee and accomplish His work.
In the course of our service as a ministry, we have faced overwhelming challenges in these communities. Situations that demanded immediate action have often arisen, such as dire poverty, lack of healthcare, moral decay, particularly among the youth, and limited access to quality education. At times, there has been a strong desire within the ministry to have all the resources needed to immediately address these needs.
However, through these challenges, an important lesson has been learned: the power of trusting God with everything. We have found that relying on human understanding and resources often leads to failure. In contrast, when we have placed our complete trust in God and moved forward in faith, we have witnessed His faithfulness in action.
When the mission teams from Chosen to Serve Ministries venture into these communities, they do so with a firm faith in Jesus, believing that He will accomplish His will through their efforts. This steadyfast faith in Jesus Christ is not only the ministry's life blood but also the message we share with the communities we serve . In doing so, we spread a message of hope, strength and trust in God who is ever present and ever faithful. Have a blessed week.
