2 Corinthians 9:7 reminds us that “each one must give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity, for God loves a cheerful giver.”
True giving flows from gratitude, not pressure. When we give with a heart that is noticeably happy and optimistic, our offering becomes an act of thanksgiving, not a transaction. A cheerful giver is one who remembers God’s goodness and gives out of joy, not complaint.
