Exciting times at MRH! The classrooms are currently being renovated as we fix the leaking roof and re-tile two classrooms. Everyone is looking forward to seeing their new and improved learning spaces once the work is completed. We will continue to share updates as the renovation progresses throughout the week.

Another successful week of bringing light and hope to families across rural Uganda! ☀️💡

This week our team has been busy installing more solar systems for families who have been living without electricity. Every home we visit has its own story, and every installation brings new opportunities for children to study after dark, parents to work safely in the evenings, and families to enjoy the comfort and security of having light in their homes.

Working in the hot season is never easy, with long days and high temperatures, but seeing the smiles on people's faces when the lights come on for the first time makes every challenge worthwhile.

We are incredibly grateful to everyone who supports this project. Your generosity is helping to transform lives, one home at a time, by providing clean, reliable energy to families who need it most.

Another busy and rewarding week installing solar systems. It has been amazing to see families experience light in their homes for the very first time.

One family that we visited this week was a child-led household. Both parents have passed away, and a 16-year-old girl is now responsible for caring for the home. Thankfully, neighbours are helping to watch over and support the children.

The biggest challenge right now is the hot season. The temperatures have been extremely high, making field work difficult and exhausting. Even so, every installation is worth the effort when we see the impact it has on people's daily lives.

Thank you to everyone who continues to support this work. Every solar system installed brings light, safety, and opportunity to families who need it most.

More solar systems going up and getting set up in our YES Uganda family's!

The days are hot out here in the field, but it's always such a joy to serve families and bring light where it's needed most. Every installation means more children can study after dark, families can save money, and homes can experience the blessing of reliable, clean energy.

We love seeing the excitement on people's faces when the lights come on for the first time. Thank you to everyone who makes this possible. Together, we are bringing hope, opportunity, and light to families across Uganda.

Having fun at Manna Rescue Home this weekend! 🎉

We enjoyed playing in the playground, spending time together in church, and celebrating the joy of learning about the Shield of Faith this week.

Busy day in the YES office helping students write sponsor letters and checking report cards as they prepare to start back for the second term of the year 📚✏️

Lots going on, so it’s all busy busy here, but it’s great to support the students as they get ready for the new term ahead 😊
