Today 6th of January the Institute of the Daughters of St.Therese of the Chld Jesus (Banyatereza sisters) in Fort Portal Diocese had perpetual Professions and Jubilee Celebration .One sister celebrated Platinum Jubilee (70)
One celebrated Diamond (60)
10 celebrated Golden Jubilee (50)and 5 made their Final Professions.
Mass was lead by Rt.Rev. Robert K Muhiirwa and animated by Seraphim choir Virika Cathedral .
We congratulate our Sisters upon reaching this mile stone in Banyatereza sisters and we continue to pray for them.

Today 28th December Rt.Rev.Robert K Muhiirwa and other priests co_celebrated in the Mass of closing the Jubilee year which was opened last year 2024 at Bukwali parish in Fort Portal Diocese, many Religious Men and women and the lay faithful participated .Also we celebrated the day for the Holy Family.

This Hospital is located in Rwibaale ward,Butunduzi Town council, in Kyenjojo district in Mwenge south constituency.

Greetings brethren,
The Catholic Diocese of Fort Portal is mourning the death of Rev. Fr. Josephat Isingoma Kansiime Amooti, which occurred yesterday, 22 November 2025.

*FUNERAL PROGRAM*
1. Today, the body arrived at Rwibaale mortuary.
2. The body will arrive in the cathedral on 24 November 2025 at 4 pm for paying last respect and then Requiem Mass at 5pm.

3. The wake will be kept at Bishop's Magambo's Chapel.
4. The burial will be on Tuesday, 25 November 2025, beginning with the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass at exactly 11am. Then, after procession to St. John mary Vianney cemetery at Bishop's residence. May his soul rest in the Lord's comfort!

Today 21st of November 32 Catechists have been commissioned at St.Adolf Kaihura in Fort Portal Diocese by Msgr. Isaiah Mayombo Adyeri and 27 of them have completed one year and 5 have completed 2 years. All these catechists are from 20 parishes of the Diocese.Congratulations to our catechists and may the good Lord bless them as they start their ministry in the vineyard of the Lord.

The diocese of Kasese yesterday animated well the MEPA Mass. In attendance were all our bishops from Mbarara Ecclesiastical Province, Clergy, religious men and women and the laity. Dr. Patrick Birungi the MEPA chairpeson officially announced Hoima catholic diocese will animate rhe same event next year.
