Update: Rev. Fr. Joachim Kasujja today reported to St. Augustine Catholic Parish, Kigaraale, as the Parish Priest Designate of Kigaraale Parish. He will be assisted in his pastoral ministry by Rev. Fr. Onesimus Ajuna.

The two priests were warmly welcomed by a big number of Christians, together with members of the Council of Laity, who expressed their joy and readiness to work with the priests in the growth and development of the new parish community.

The arrival of Fr. Joachim Kasujja and Fr. Onesimus Ajuna marks an important milestone in the pastoral journey of Kigaraale. The priests are expected to work closely with the faithful, the Council of Laity, and other parish leaders in strengthening evangelisation, catechesis, liturgical life, and the spiritual growth of the Christian community.

The inauguration of St. Augustine Catholic Parish, Kigaraale, will take place soon, with details to be communicated in due course.

We congratulate Fr. Joachim Kasujja and Fr. Onesimus Ajuna upon this new pastoral mission and entrust their ministry to the Lord. May God bless their service and bless the entire Christian community of Kigaraale.

May the Lord guide and strengthen them as they begin this new mission of serving God's people.
