Today, Bhante Buddharakkhita serves as the Founder and Abbot of the Uganda Buddhist Centre in Garuga, Entebbe. What began as a modest effort to introduce the Buddha’s teachings has grown into a recognized spiritual and educational institution. We are delighted to come together today for our Parents, Teachers Meeting as we prepare for the 2026 academic year at Buddhist Peace Nursery School, Buddhist Peace Primary School, and African Buddhist High School.
This meeting reflects our shared commitment to nurturing our learners through collaboration, open communication, and the values of peace, mindfulness, and mutual respect.
