We visited Ndeeba village in Lwengo district where David Kisakye is starting a secondary school!. The need for secondary education in this area is immense. A local school will not only reduce long-distance travel for students but will also provide a critical opportunity for children to continue their education and build brighter futures right in their own community.

The Katogwe Outreach: Heart of the Kingdom ministries made a trip to a village in the Kamuli district of Uganda. We were able to see more than 60 people come to know Christ or rededicate their lives to Him. We also taught skills like soap making and sewing re-usable sanitary pads. We set a trash bin and donated a water filtration system as we taught about sanitation issues. Thank you to everyone who helped make this mission happen. God did some amazing things while we were on our mission's trip in May 2024. One of the ladies on the team had the heart to start a sponsorship program for the Village Kids Africa located in Mateete, Uganda. Since then, she has been working with Heart of the Kingdom to provide food, school supplies and school fees for this group. The Village kids Africa, is the vision of a young man who wanted to take in kids and find support for them by forming a dancing team. The children perform at various venues to raise money, and they have other young men who manage, train, and take care of the needs of the kids. The children even gave to the needy in their community from the gifts of food they were given!!

Our trip to Uganda was met with many hardships and even some heartbreak. But, through it all God was good and He was faithful as always!! We'll be posting more when we get the pictures and videos organized. There are many!! We just want to thank everyone who prayed for us and supported us in any way. You enabled us to share the love of Jesus in many practical ways. And many souls were added to the Kingdom of God!! May God continue to bless you, that you may continue to be a blessing as you are to us!!

We are pressed on every side by troubles, but we are not crushed. We are perplexed, but not driven to despair.
Sometimes the Word of God is revealed to us in unexpected and amazing ways!! God promised us that in this life we will have troubles, but He goes on to promise that, even though that is true, we can take heart because He has overcome the world!! Today we praise our heavenly Father for the troubles and we are so grateful to Him for overcoming them!!
THE TEAM HAS REACHED TO UGANDA AND WERE WELCOMED AND LOVED SO WELL BY THE HEART OF THE KINGDOM STAFF!!
