𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲 (a verb) means to be in charge of....
𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗿 (a noun) a person regarded in terms of their skill in managing resources.
Beloved, God has shown us already His redemptive love through Christ's death at the cross and resurrection - our sins were washed away and became new creatures through faith in Jesus Christ. But He also went ahead and vested individual gifts in us as a motivation that we may uphold and cherish our Christian life as a joint BODY OF CHRIST, Hallelujah 🙌.
𝗔𝗰𝗰𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝗥𝗼𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘀 𝟭𝟮: 𝟯-𝟴 𝗟𝗘𝗦𝗕, apostle Paul brings us to the understanding of these gifts and how we are supposed to utilize them. .......That we should not leave independent nor work in isolation of one another, because we who are many make one body in CHRIST and individually members of one another.
Therefore, God has given each one of us special gifts, you can call them abilities or skills for special assignments in the Body of Christ. 𝙏𝙤 𝙨𝙤𝙢𝙚 𝙞𝙩'𝙨 𝙖 𝙜𝙞𝙛𝙩 𝙤𝙛; 𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙥𝙝𝙚𝙘𝙮, 𝙏𝙚𝙖𝙘𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜, 𝙩𝙤 𝙨𝙤𝙢𝙚 𝙀𝙭𝙝𝙤𝙧𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜, 𝙤𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙨 𝙩𝙤 𝙂𝙞𝙫𝙚, 𝙤𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙨 𝙩𝙤 𝙨𝙝𝙤𝙬 𝙈𝙚𝙧𝙘𝙮, 𝙤𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙨 𝙩𝙤 𝙇𝙚𝙖𝙙 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙤𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙨 𝙩𝙤 𝙎𝙚𝙧𝙫𝙚.
This is why Apostle Peter emphasizes that, (1 Peter 4:10) as 𝙜𝙤𝙤𝙙 𝙢𝙖𝙣𝙖𝙜𝙚𝙧𝙨, we should not use the God given gifts for our personal gain but rather use them to serve one another.
As a child of God, there's an inbuilt ability or gift within you that you ought to discover and employ for the work of ministry in the Body of Christ.
Through your gift, enabled by the Holy Spirit, God wants to continue displaying His love towards the church. So do not misuse 🙏.
A service to the body of Christ through your gift is highly applauded and rewarded by our Lord Jesus CHRIST. For He Himself said in the gospel of 𝘓𝘶𝘬𝘦 𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘱𝘵𝘦𝘳 12:42-48 𝘓𝘌𝘚𝘉 (42. 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘓𝘰𝘳𝘥 𝘴𝘢𝘪𝘥: 𝘸𝘩𝘰 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘯 𝘪𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘧𝘢𝘪𝘵𝘩𝘧𝘶𝘭 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘴𝘦𝘯𝘴𝘪𝘣𝘭𝘦 𝘔𝘈𝘕𝘈𝘎𝘌𝘙 𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘮𝘢𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘳 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘱𝘶𝘵 𝘩𝘪𝘮 𝘪𝘯 𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘳𝘨𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘴𝘦𝘩𝘰𝘭𝘥 𝘴𝘦𝘳𝘷𝘢𝘯𝘵𝘴 𝘵𝘰 𝘨𝘪𝘷𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘮 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘪𝘳 𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘰𝘵𝘵𝘦𝘥 𝘧𝘰𝘰𝘥 𝘢𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘱𝘦𝘳 𝘵𝘪𝘮𝘦? 43. Therefore, I urge all of us today to continue thriving in our gifts that we may serve one another in the body of Christ as good managers, to the extent that If anyone speaks, it should be as one who speaks God's words; if anyone serves, it should be from the strength God provides, so that God may be glorified through Jesus Christ in everything. To Him belongs the glory and power forever and ever. Amen.)
