A Historic Day for Kaongo Parish 🙏🏽⛪

16th August 2026 was a truly historic and blessed day for St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Kaongo.

The parish was honoured by the presence of Most Rev. Jackson Murugara, Bishop of the Diocese of Meru, who presided over the Holy Mass, administered the Sacrament of Confirmation to 157 candidates, and laid the foundation stone for the new parish church.

The celebration was concelebrated by Fr. Sagil Xavier CST, Parish Priest, and Fr. Jinto Jose CST, Assistant Parish Priest, together with the Sisters and parishioners.

We thank God for this beautiful milestone and congratulate all 157 newly confirmed. May the Holy Spirit guide and strengthen them, and may God bless the new church project and everyone who supports its realization. 🕊️🙏🏽

New Priest Day Celebration – A Historic Moment

A joyful and historic moment was celebrated in the Little Flower Mission in Africa with the New Priest Day Holy Mass. For the first time in the history of the Little Flower Congregation (CST Fathers) in the African mission, two of our brothers who were formed for priesthood in Africa returned to the mission land as priests.

After completing their earlier stages of formation in India, they came to Africa for their theological studies. They studied Theology at Jordan University College, Morogoro, Tanzania, where they prepared themselves spiritually and academically for the priesthood.

Following their ordination, they came back to the African mission and celebrated the Holy Mass of thanksgiving together with the missionaries and the faithful. It was a proud and grace-filled moment for the mission, as these two brothers are the first fruits of priestly formation connected with the African mission of the Little Flower Congregation.

The faithful gathered with great joy and gratitude to thank God for this special blessing. This celebration stands as a milestone in the history of the mission, witnessing the growth of vocations and the continuing mission of the Church in Africa.

May the Lord bless their priestly ministry and make them dedicated servants of His people.

A Historic Milestone for the Little Flower Congregation (CST Fathers)

The Minor Seminary at Nzinje, Dodoma, Tanzania witnessed a historic and grace-filled moment as the Little Alençon Formation House was solemnly blessed by Mar Thomas Thuruthimattom CST. This beautiful occasion marked another important milestone in the missionary journey of the Little Flower Congregation (CST Fathers).

The blessing ceremony was held in the presence of Jojo Varakukalayil, the Superior General of the congregation, and Fr. Jojesh Paul, along with many priests, religious sisters, minor seminary brothers, major seminary brothers, and faithful who gathered to share in the joy of this special moment.

Through prayers and thanksgiving, the community entrusted the Little Alençon Formation House and the young seminarians to God’s loving guidance. This new formation house stands as a sign of hope and commitment to forming dedicated missionaries and future priests for the service of the Church and God’s people.

May the Lord abundantly bless this house of formation and all those who are called to follow Him in the path of priesthood and mission. 🙏✨
