UNDERSTAND CIRCLE OF THE FAVOURED ONES MINISTRIES - CFOM
THE BEGINNING:
Circle of the Favoured Ones Ministries – C.F.O.M is an inde
pendent, non-church affiliated and non-profit Christian ministry created this Saturday of August 20th, 2022 at Ng’wandulu “A”, Bujora village, Bujora ward, Magu district in Mwanza region, Tanzania, East Africa. The initiator and founder of C.F.O.M is Mr. William Ilembo Johnson, a trustworthy servant of God with integrity called to be a teacher of the word of God. He is a born again and Faithfull Christian serving God the Almighty since 2010 in Mwanza, Tanzania through different Churches and ministries. Later on in 2015, he initiated and founded a non-profit children’s centre at Bujora village, Magu district in Mwanza region to answer the need of education, love and care for orphans and vulnerable children. This centre got incredible development and turned to be a pre and primary school known as Savvy Brain Academy – S.B.A still helping needy children with the support from different volunteers from USA, Canada, Brazil and Europe visiting the school in Tanzania from time to time. All the time, Mr. William is in-charge of the Spiritual welfare of children joining the school he founded and managing until today. Living in a patriarchal system community, in April 2020 he mobilized some community members to initiate and found a non-governmental and non-profit organization known as Awakening Horn for Inclusive Rural Development – A.H.I.R.D to advocate for social and economic rights and justice for marginalized rural women, young girls and children in Mwanza region and all over Tanzania. The great part of his life is devoted to help the needy by giving as in his belief that is how we can make God glorified. C.F.O.M is therefore a big dream he had to reach the unreached, build unity among Christians and fortify the Church. Seven other trustworthy servants of God who have joined C.F.O.M and will work to insure we meet the vision, mission and objectives of this ministry. MISSION STATEMENT OF C.F.O.M:
“To reach out to men, women, children and youth with the message and teachings of the word of God the Almighty in order to help them transform their lives in all aspects and live according to his will and goodness for his glory.” (John 6: 38 – 40; Mark 3: 33 – 35)
VISION STATEMENT OF C.F.O.M:
To see reached communities are transformed with the word of God and live a life which pleases God the Almighty daily, glorify him and build his Kingdom on earth. (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18; 1 John 2:6; Deuteronomy 8:6)
OBJECTIVES/GOALS OF C.F.O.M:
Our work is oriented and focuses to meet the following objectives/goals:
1. Preach the Gospel of the Lord Jesus-Christ for the Salvation of the unreached and lost souls in His mighty name;
2. Teach the word of God to Jesus-Christ’s believers in order fortify and encourage their relationship with Him, get healed their daily life sufferings and diseases by Him;
3. Offer Bible Education and Christian Leadership knowledge in different ministry fields to help servants of God serving His Church to respond to contemporary challenges of Christian leadership in building the Kingdom of God;
4. Support and empower impoverished rural children and youth to transform their lives, heal their pains and build their hopes in Jesus-Christ. ACTIVITIES/MEANS USED IN FULFILLING THE OBJECTIVES OF C.F.O.M:
To reach our objectives, we will organize and implement activities which will benefit the men. Women, children and youth in our working area as follows:
• Gospel Crusades, Training – seminars, Workshops, Reflection and prayer meetings;
• Gospel music productions; Publications and distributions of tracts, booklets, books;
• Recordings and distributions of DVD, VCD … on different themes acted from the Bible; Broadcasting on Radio, Television and Social network;
• Publishing or sharing teachings on Social networks;
• Home visits; Counseling to individuals and groups;
• Integral empowerment of women, children and the youth in need and servants of God; Classrooms based Bible trainings; Offer material or financial support where deem necessary; Sponsorship for Bible or formal education’s access;
• Organize sports tournament for children and youth;
• Prayer intersections to individuals or groups. HOW C.F.O.M REACHES LOCALLY THE COMMUNITIES FOR CHRIST?:
We uphold the unity of saints at the Circle of the Favoured Ones Ministries – C.F.O.M because all the servants of God we partner with in our working area are building the Kingdom of God. Therefore, we work and deliver our services in our working area by partnering with:
• Existing Local Christian churches led by leaders having a non- questionable integrity and transparency;
• Existing local Bible Institutions with a good reputation, integrity and transparency;
• Existing local Christian ministries or faith-based organizations with high integrity and transparency;
• Various servants of God interested in our activities and willing to work with us but with high integrity and transparency. GET INVOLVED:
We warmly welcome any servant of God or Christian ministries, Faith-based or religious organizations based anywhere in the World to join us so that we may partner and work together to take further the work of building the Kingdom of God in Tanzania.
