Psalms 34:8 "Oh, taste and see that the LORD is good! Blessed is the man who takes refuge in him!"

It is difficult to explain about the goodness of God and be fully understood. If I say I am full of the joy of the Lord, or the peace of Christ guides me, or I am in fellowship with the Holy Spirit and I talk to Him all the time, some will not fully understand.

Its only when you taste and see for yourself that the Lord is good.

Come and taste the victory over sin, victory over power of darkness. Come and taste the Personal Fellowship with God. Come and taste Healing.
After Andrew tasted the Lord, he could not resist inviting his brother Simon(Peter) to taste Him too. We read in John 1:40-42"One of the two who heard John speak and followed Jesus was Andrew, Simon Peter's brother.41He first found his own brother Simon and said to him, We have found the Messiah (which means Christ).42He brought him to Jesus. Jesus looked at him and said, You are Simon the son of John. You shall be called Cephas (which means Peter)."

We also read the Samaritan woman who after tasting the Lord she ran to call others to come and taste him too.
John 4:25 -30"The woman said to him, I know that Messiah is coming (he who is called Christ). When he comes, he will tell us all things.26Jesus said to her, I who speak to you am he.....28So the woman left her water jar and went away into town and said to the people,29Come, see a man who told me all that I ever did. Can this be the Christ?30They went out of the town and were coming to him"

I call you today to come and taste the Lord Jesus, He is good. Experience Him for yourself. Do you have any trouble in your life right now? Jesus is good enough to take away all your troubles. He loves you and if you believe Him, you will be set free.

Now,
To accept Jesus in you life, pray this short prayer, meaning it from your heart:

Lord Jesus, I thank you for loving me, I acknowledge my sins, please forgive me. Be the Lord and savior of my life, In the name of Jesus, Amen.

Now, for any trouble that you are going through, wether its sickness, oppression by power of darkness etc, say this prayer:

Lord Jesus, I believe that you came to set me free from all oppressions, I pray that you set me free from my (mention your trouble). Thank you Jesus for setting me free, in Jesus name, Amen.

The Lord has heard you and you are set free, in Jesus name.

KUJULIKANA NA MUNGU

Mara nyingi k**a si mara zote tumekuwa tukitafuta kumjua Mungu, tunajitahidi kwenda nyumba za ibada, kusoma neno la Mungu, kuomba n.k, ili tuwe karibu na Mungu, lakini swali ni Je Mungu anatujua ?

Kujulikana na Mungu, si kwa maana ya Mungu kujua kwamba tupo na kujua mambo yetu, maana kwa jinsi ya hivi Mungu anajua kila kitu, mpaka ndege mdogo tunaye mdharau haanguki akafa bila Mungu kujua.

Kujulikana huku ni kutambulika kwa Mungu kuwa sisi tu wake. Yesu alisema katika Yohana 10:14 " Mimi ndimi mchungaji mwema, nao walio wangu nawajua, nao walio wangu wanijua mimi"

Kuna walio wa Yesu, hao anawajua, na walio wa Yesu wanamjua Bwana wao. Lakini wapo wanaomjua Yesu ila yeye hawajui. Watu hawa hawataurithi ufalme wa Mungu.
Kuna watu wanaohubiri na kuombea watu kwa Jina la Yesu na hata kupata matokeo, lakini hawataurithi ufalme wa Mungu. Kwa sababu Yesu hawajui watu hawa. Tunasoma katika 1Wakorintho 9:27, mtume Paulo akisema " bali nautesa mwili wangu na kuutumikisha, isiwe nikiisha kuwahubiri wengine, mwenyewe niwe mtu wa kukataliwa"
Upo uwezekano wa kufanya kazi ya Mungu lakini bado tukakataliwa. Tunasoma pia katika Mathayo 7:22 " Wengi wataniambia siku ile, Bwana, Bwana, hatukufanya unabii kwa jina lako, na kwa jina lako kutoa pepo, na kwa jina lako kufanya miujiza mingi? 23 Ndipo nitawaambia dhahiri, Sikuwajua ninyi kamwe, ondokeni kwangu ninyi mtendao maovu"

Sasa upo msingi wa mtu kujulikana na Mungu, nao hauwezi kubadilika, biblia inasema katika

2Timotheo 2:19 " Lakini msingi wa Mungu ulio imara umesimama, wenye muhuri hii,
Bwana awajua walio wake,
Na tena,
Kila alitajaye jina la Bwana na auache uovu"

Huu ndiyo msingi wa kujulikana na Mungu, inatupasa kuuacha uovu. Hili ndilo jambo pekee la kutufanya tujulikane na Mungu. Kuuacha uovu kunatokana na kuisikia sauti ya Mungu, yaani kuyatenda yale anayotuambia. Yesu akasema katika Yohana 10:27 " Kondoo wangu waisikia sauti yangu, nami nawajua, nao wanifuata".

Proverbs 15:3 "The eyes of the LORD are in every place, keeping watch on the evil and the good."

Sometimes we think God does not take notice of some little goodness that we do, or the evil things that we do in secret.

God is always watching, and He knows the evil and the good. He shows Himself strong on behalf of those who do good, and obey Him. He comes for their rescue.

The bible says in 2 Chronicles 16:9 "For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to give strong support to those whose heart is blameless toward him......."

We read in the Bible how God showed Himself strong on behalf of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. He stopped fire from consuming them. We read about Daniel, how God saved him from hungry lions.

We need to keep doing good, because God takes notice of it. The Bible says in Galatians 6:9 " And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up."

Mithali 15:3 " Macho ya BWANA yako kila mahali, yakimchunguza mbaya na mwema"

Wakati mwingine tunawezafikiri kuwa Mungu haoni lile jambo dogo jema tunalolifanya, au ule uovu tunaoufanya. Lakini Mungu anaona kila kitu wakati wote na kila mahali.

Tusikate tamaa kutenda mema, na kumtii Mungu, Yeye hujionyesha mwenye nguvu kwao wanaompenda, anamjua kila mtenda mema.

Biblia inasema katika 2 Mambo ya Nyakati 16:9 " Kwa maana macho ya BWANA hukimbia-kimbia duniani mwote, ili ajionyeshe mwenye nguvu kwa ajili ya hao, waliokamilika moyo kuelekea kwake......."

Tunakumbuka jinsi Mungu alivyojionyesha mwenye nguvu kwa kuwaokoa Shedraki, Meshaki, na Abednego. Akazuia moto usiwatekekeze. Tunakumbuka jinsi Mungu alivyomuokoa Danieli na Simba wenye njaa. Hii yote ni kwa sababu walikuwa watenda mema, na walimpendeza Mungu.

Biblia inatufundisha kuwa tusichoke kutenda ma, Wagalatia 6:9 " Tena tusichoke katika kutenda mema, maana tutavuna kwa wakati wake, tusipozimia roho"

Genesis 4:7 "If you do well, will you not be accepted?....."

Beloved, God is a just God, whoever does well get accepted (favour) before Him. If you do well, you will get favour from God in all aspects of your last life. You will see peace, success in your work, business etc, and your prayers will be answered.
God does not have partiality, we read in Acts 10: 34-35 "So Peter opened his mouth and said: Truly I understand that God shows no partiality, 35 but in every nation anyone who fears him and does what is right is acceptable to him."

Always do well, and you will see God standing by your side, keeping you out of harm ways and lifting you up.

Mwanzo 4:7 " K**a ukitenda vyema, hutapata kibali ?......."

Ndugu mpendwa, Mungu ni mwenye haki siku zote, hakuna atendaye vyema akakosa kibali mbele zake. Ukitenda vyema, Mungu atakupa kibali katika kila upande wa maisha yako. Utaona amani, afya, mafanikio katika biashara, kazi n.k na maombi yako yatajibiwa.

Mungu hana upendeleo, biblia inatufundisha katika Matendo ya Mitume 10:34-35 "Petro akafumbua kinywa chake, akasema, Hakika natambua ya kuwa Mungu hana upendeleo 35 bali katika kila taifa mtu amchaye na kutenda haki hukubaliwa na yeye"

Ukifanya mambo kwa kumpendeza Mungu, atakulinda na watu wanaokuotea. Atakupandisha na kukuweka juu.

Jeremiah 1:4-8 "Now the word of the LORD came to me, saying, 5 Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, and before you were born I consecrated you; I appointed you a prophet to the nations. 6Then I said, Ah, Lord GOD! Behold, I do not know how to speak, for I am only a youth. 7 But the LORD said to me,Do not say, ‘I am only a youth’; for to all to whom I send you, you shall go, and whatever I command you, you shall speak. 8 Do not be afraid of them, for I am with you to deliver you, declares the LORD."

Beloved, who the LORD had called you to save Him, and there is something holding you back. I would like to encourage you, God who has called you will be with you in every step that you make. Do not be afraid, just trust the Lord for He will be there to encourage you, to guide you, to protect you, to provide for you and will lift you on high.

Joshua 1:9"Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go."

Yeremia 1:4-8 " Neno la BWANA lilinijia kusema 5 Kabla sijakuumba katiks tumbo, nalikujua, na kabla hujatoka tumboni, nalikutakasa, nimekuweka kuwa nabii wa mataifa 6 Ndipo niliposema, Aa, Bwana MUNGU! Tazama siwezi kusema maana mimi mtoto 7 Lakini BWANA akaniambia, usiseme mimi ni mtoto, maana utakwenda kwa kila kila mtu nitakaye kutuma kwake, nawe utasema kila nitakalo kuamuru. 8 Usiogope kwa sababu ya hao maana mimi nipo pamoja nawe, nikuokoe, asema BWANA.

Ndugu mpedwa, uliyeitwa na BWANA kwa ajili ya kumtumikia, lakini unaona kuna jambo linakuzuia kuitikia wito huo. Napenda kukuambia kuwa Mungu anasema usiogope, Yeye yupo pamoja nawe. Atakulinda, atakusimamia, atakuokoa na atakuheshimisha.

Mungu ni mfanyakazi pamoja nawe, na wale utakao wahudumia ni watu wa Mungu, hivyo kila hatua yuko na wewe.
1Wakorintho 3:9 "Maana sisi tu wafanyakazi pamoja na Mungu, ninyi ni shamba la Mungu, ni jengo la Mungu"

VICTORY OVER SIN
Part 8

Victory over sin.

Praise Jesus, We continue with our subject on victory over sin. In this section, we will conclude our series.

Everyone who believes in Jesus, has been rescued from the kingdom of darkness and transferred to the kingdom of light, he has been set free from sin, and has become a new creature in Christ. We read in 2Corinthians 5:17 " Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come."

When Jesus came to free us, we were powerless to sin， we could not choose to do good, but only to be enslaved by it. But God freed us by His power, and now we are no longer slaves to sin, and have received the eternal life in us.

Now that we are free, God has let us to exercise our free will to obey him, we have the choice to do good or evil.
We read the story of Israelites, when God took them out of slavery in Egypt, they were powerless, with no choice over their destiny. God saved them by His mighty hand, and set them free so that they can worship and save Him.
But after they were free， they had to choose to obey God and do good, God did not force them.
We read in Deuteronomy 30:19 "I call heaven and earth to witness against you today, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and curse. Therefore choose life, that you and your offspring may live," He told them to choose, not forcing them.
We read also in Joshua 24:14-15 "Now therefore fear the LORD and serve him in sincerity and in faithfulness. Put away the gods that your fathers served beyond the River and in Egypt, and serve the LORD.15 And if it is evil in your eyes to serve the LORD, choose this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your fathers served in the region beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD."
God wants us to obey him with love that leads to fear of the Lord, not with fear (being afraid of him).
Being free from sin, we have power to reject sin, and all sinful desires. The bible says in Romans 6:12-14 "Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, to make you obey its passions.13 Do not present your members (body parts) to sin as instruments for unrighteousness, but present yourselves to God as those who have been brought from death to life, and your members to God as instruments for righteousness. For sin will have no dominion over you, since you are not under law but under grace."

We can resist sin, it doesn't own us any longer for Jesus bought us by His blood, we are under His grace. So we have the power to control our actions, we have the choice to present our body for sin or to save God.

There are those sins, that get us easly, even those ones can no longer enslave us, the bible tells us to put them aside, its in our decision to do so, Hebrews 12:1 "Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us,"

We also need to remember that the devil is still working against us, he puts ideas in our minds that we are still unable to defeat sin, or some sins are difficult to reject.
We need to reject his ideas, and stick to the truth that, no sin has power over us.

Now, Jesus defeated sin, and gave us eternal life. Only by staying in Him, we can have this victory. Out of Him we can still be defeated by sin.
He said in John 15:4-5 "Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in me. 5 I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing."

Only by abiding in Jesus, we can do good. Only in Him we have Victory over sin.

USHINDI JUU YA DHAMBI
Sehemu ya 8

Ushindi juu ya dhambi

Bwana Yesu asifiwe, tunaendelea na somo letu, katika sehemu hii tutakuwa tunahitimisha mfululizo huu.

Kila aliyemwamini Yesu Kristo, ametolewa katika ufalme wa giza na kuingizwa katika ufalme wa nuru. Mtu huyo anakuwa ndani ya Yesu, na Yesu anakuwa ndani yake. Mambo yote ya nyuma yanakuwa wamebatilika, anaanza maisha mapya ndani ya Kristo. Biblia inasema katika 2 Wakorintho 5:17 "Hata imekuwa, mtu akiwa ndani ya Kristo amekuwa kiumbe kipya, ya kale yamepita, tazama! Yamekuwa mapya"

Yesu alipokuja kutukomboa alitukuta tukiwa hatuwezi kuamua kufanya mema, kwa sababu tulikuwa watumwa wa dhambi. Alitutoa katika utumwa kwa nguvu na uweza wake. Sasa sisi si watumwa tena, bali tumekombolewa, tupo huru, na tena tumeupokea uzima wa milele ndani yetu.

Baada ya kuwa tumekwisha kuwekwa huru, Mungu anatuacha tuendelee kutumia nguvu ya maamuzi aliyotupa. Sasa ni sisi wenyewe kuamua kuendelea kutenda mema au kufanya maovu. Nguvu ya kuamua ipo kwetu, dhambi haina mamlaka juu yetu hata kidogo. Haina nguvu kisheria, kwa sababu tulishanunuliwa kwa damu ya Yesu.

Tunasoma habari za wana wa Israeli, Mungu alipowakomboa kutoka utumwani kule Misri, alitumia nguvu na uweza wake kuwatoa katika utumwa.
Lakini walipokuwa huru, wakapewa uhuru kuchagua, kumfuata Mungu au kuendelea na uovu. Kumbukumbu la torati 30:19 " Nazishuhudiza mbingu na nchi juu yenu hivi leo, kuwa nimekuwekea mbele yako uzima na mauti, baraka na laana, basi chagua uzima ili uwe hai, wewe na uzao wako" Mungu aliwaambia 'wachague', hakuwalazimisha. Tunasoma pia katika Yoshua 24:14-15 "Basi sasa mcheni BWANA mkamtumikie kwa unyoofu wa moyo na kwa kweli, na kuiweka mbali miungu ambayo baba zenu waliitumikia ng'ambo ya Mto, na huko Misri, mkamtumikie yeye BWANA 15 Nanyi k**a mkiona ni vibaya kumtumikia BWANA, chagueni hivi leo mtakaye mtumikia, kwamba ni miungu ile ambayo baba zenu waliitumikia ng'ambo ya Mto, au kwamba ni miungu ya wale Waamori ambao mnakaa katika nchi yao, lakini mimi na nyumba yangu tutamtumikia BWANA"

Huu ni uhuru ambao mtu anapewa ili achague cha kufanya, Mungu halazimishi.

Tunao uwezo wa kuikataa dhambi, kwa sababu haitumiliki tena, na ni juu yetu kuchukua hatua, biblia inasema katika Warumi 6:12-14 "Basi dhambi isitawale ndani ya miili yenu ipatikanayo na mauti hata kuzitii tamaa zake, 13 wala msiendelee kuvitoa viungo vyenu kuwa silaha za dhuluma kwa dhambi, bali jitoeni wenyewe kwa Mungu k**a walio hai baada ya kufa, na viungo vyenu kwa Mungu kuwa silaha ya haki.14 Kwa maana dhambi haitawatawala ninyi, kwa sababu hamwi chini ya sheria, bali chini ya neema"

Sisi tunao uwezo wa kuzuia viungo vyetu visitumike kwa dhambi, tunao uwezo wa kutokuzitii tamaa za mwili, kwa sababu dhambi haitawali tena, bali tuko chini ya neema ya Mungu.

Zipo dhambi zinazotuzinga /kutupata kwa upesi. Dhambi k**a hizi pia hazina nguvu ya kututawala, tunatakiwa kuziweka pembeni, tuziache. Uwezo wa kufanya hivyo uko katika maamuzi yetu.
Waebrania 12:1 "Basi na sisi pia, kwa kuwa tunazungukwa na wingu kubwa la mashahidi namna hii, na tuweke kando kila mzigo mzito, na dhambi ile ituzingayo kwa upesi, na tupige mbio kwa saburi katika yale mashindani yaliyowekwa mbele yetu."

Pamoja na uhuru tulio nao, ni muhimu kufahamu kwamba shetani yupo na anafanya kazi ya kushawishi na kuhadaa. Mashambulizi yake ameyaelekeza katika fahamu zetu, ili tuamini kuwa dhambi ina nguvu ya kututumikisha, na hata tukijiona kuwa hatuwezi kuikataa. Huo ni uongo wa shetani. Hii ni mbinu kubwa anayoitumia kwa watu waliomwamini Yesu, anawafanya wasitambue kuwa hakuna dhambi ya kuwashinda. Huu ndo ukweli ya kuwa tunao ushindi juu ya dhambi zote, biblia inasema tutaifahamu kweli na hiyo kweli itatuweka huru. Mungu anataka tuujue huu ukweli ili tuwe huru katika fahamu zetu, na kuchukua nafasi zetu.

Sasa, ushindi juu ya dhambi umefanywa na Bwana Yesu, sisi tukiwa ndani yake ndipo tunaweza kuwa na huo ushindi. Nje ya Yesu hakuna ushindi juu ya dhambi.
Tunasoma katika Yohana 15:4-5" Kaeni ndani yangu, nami ndani yenu. K**a vile tawi lisivyoweza kuzaa peke yake, lisipokaa ndani ya mzabibu 5 Mimi ni mzabibu, ninyi ni matawi, akaaye ndani yangu nami ndani yake, huyo huzaa sana, maana pasipo mimi ninyi hamwezi kufanya neno lolote"

Ni muhimu kuzingatia kukaa ndani ya Yesu, ndipo tutaweza kuishi maisha ya ushindi juu ya dhambi.

VICTORY OVER SIN
Part 7

Shalom, we continue to look on the remaining two things that Jesus did during redemption of man from sin. These are; Setting men free, and restoring godly life (eternal life)

John 3:16 "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life."

Jesus paid the price through His blood for our reconciliation with God. He defeated sin and death, and has all the authority. If any man believes Jesus, he will be forgiven of his sins and be reconciled with God, he will be set free from sin and will have eternal life (godly life) in him.

The Bible says in Romans 10:9 "because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."
Everyone who is born again, is freed from sin, and has eternal life in him.
Jesus is calling all people to come to him, to believe him and to be set free from sin and get eternal life.

USHINDI JUU YA DHAMBI
Sehemu ya 7

Shalom,

Tunaendelea kuangalia mambo mawili ya mwisho ambayo yalifanyika katika ukombozi wa mwanadamu, ambayo ni: Kumuweka huru mwanadamu, na kumrudishia mwanadamu uzima wa kimungu (uzima wa milele)

Yohana 3:16 "Kwa maana jinsi hii Mungu aliupenda ulimwengu, hata akamtoa Mwanawe pekee, ili kila amwaminiye asipotee, bali awe na uzima wa milele."

K**a tulivyoona katika sehemu za nyuma, Yesu alikuja kumpatanisha mwanadamu na Mungu, akaishinda dhambi na mauti. Hii yote ni ili mwanadamu aupate uzima wa milele, ambao ni uzima wa kimungu unaokuja kukaa ndani yake.

Yesu alilipa gharama kwa ajili ya dhambi ya mwanadamu. Ili mwanadamu apate msamaha wa dhambi, na kupatanishwa na Mungu, apate kurudishiwa uzima wa kimungu, na kuwa huru mbali na dhambi ni lazima amwamini Yesu Kristo kuwa mkombozi wake.
Huku ndiko kunaitwa kuokoka, maana yake kukombolewa kutoka katika utumwa wa dhambi na katika hatari ya moto wa milele.

Biblia inasema katika Warumi 10:9 "Kwa sababu, ukimkiri Yesu kwa kinywa chako ya kuwa ni Bwana, na kuamini moyoni mwako ya kuwa Mungu alimfufua katika wafu, utaokoka"

Wokovu ni kwa kila mtu anayemuini Yesu kuwa Bwana na mwokozi wa maisha yake. K**a mtu hajamuini Yesu, na anataka kutoka katika kifungo cha dhambi, na kuokolewa kutoka katika adhabu ya moto wa milele, nafasi bado ipo, Yesu anawaita watu wote waje kwake.
