2 Samuel 5:12

And David perceived that the LORD had established him king over Israel, and that he had exalted his kingdom FOR HIS PEOPLE ISRAEL'S SAKE.

Do you know why God has given you that job, promotion, expanded your business, granted you favor, enlarged your territory, manifested your gift?

David knew the reason God established him was FOR ISRAEL'S SAKE. This means, his remaining king would depend on how he accomplished God's will concerning the children of Israel.

As you go through life, God will favor you and increase you for a purpose. God raises us up for a purpose. We need to know that purpose and remain committed to that purpose.

For the LORD will not forsake his people for his great name's sake: because it hath pleased the LORD to make you his people.

It has pleased the Lord to bring you salvation to make you one of His child. He can never forsake you. Because of His great name, He will be gracious and good to you always

The Comfort for the Righteous

Psalms 118:15
The voice of rejoicing and salvation is in the tabernacles of the righteous: the right hand of the LORD doeth valiantly.

The scripture says we are the Righteousness of God in Christ Jesus (Corinthians 5:2). We have been declared Righteous (exonerated from all sin) and God says He remembers pur sins no more! Hallelujah!

For us, the righteous, David says our voice is not melancholic. It is not a voice of despair or discouragement. It is not a voice of poverty, lack or sickness but a VOICE OF REJOICING AND SALVATION!

Don't fret my brother and sister, God is not man to lie, God will turn every situation around for your goo. No matter what you are going through right now, GOD IS GIVING YOU A VOICE OF REJOICING AND SALVATION!

Mark the tenses "...IS IN THE..." This is present continous meaning this is your way of life! Start declaring this every day for the Glory of God.

Declaration:

I am the Righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. God has declared me righteous and has given me a voice of rejoicing and salvation for ever in Jesus' name. Amen

How are you advertising yourself?

John 1:22
Then said they unto him, Who art thou? that we may give an answer to them that sent us. WHAT SAYEST THOU OF THYSELF?

God has give you a mouth to advertise yourself. People don't know your dreams until you tell them. People don't know who you are until you tell them. People don't know your strength until you open your mouth. People don't know your ideas until you open your mouth. People don't know your problems until you open your mouth.

It is important to know what you are saying about yourself because your words are spirits and both God and the devil are spirits who hear what you say. Unlike God, the devil doesn't know your thoughts and plans until you open your mouth.

The witch doesn't know what you plan until you open your mouth to tell.

Your mouth is a powerful tool given to you by God. Use it wisely to advertise yourself to the world.

Remember, your mouth wasn't given to talk about how bad things are but to talk to those things how able you are.

Use your mouth wisely today and be to God all He created you to be by His grace.

Psalms 107:9

For he satisfieth the longing soul, and filleth the hungry soul with goodness.

David gives us by the Holy Spirit a character of God that is so profound. God is one who SATISFIES WHAT OUR SOUL LONGS FOR and FILLS OUR HUNGER WITH GOODNESS.

In the name of Jesus Christ, the son of God and our Lord and savior, I pray God's GOODNESS to fill and satisfy you. That He will satisfy the longing of your soul. What it is you are longing for, He gives it to your satisfaction for His name's sake. Be encouraged in the Lord, He knows and loves you and ONLY has Good plans to give us goodness. Never give up. God loves you.

Isaiah 55:3 .......HEAR, and your SOUL shall LIFE;..........

As i was studying the scripture above, that line struck me. THE LIFE AND HEALTH OF OUR SOUL IS A RESULTANT OF WHAT WE HEAR!

This is very profound as we navigate through life. If you consider your life right now and ask the many times you have been downcast, angry, stressed or lively and joyful was a consequence of what you had HEARD!

Now before the words above, God says, "incline your ear, and come unto me". This means, the QUALITY OF LIFE and HEALTH of your soul is dependant on what you hear from GOD.

Who or what are you giving ears to? Remember, circumstances also speak to us. There are decisions we wouldn't have taken in different circumstances. Are you hearing your circumstances or are you hearing God?

What is the condition of your soul today? Are you depressed? Are you stressed out and don't know what to do? You may be hearing the wrong thing that's bringing deatg to your soul. Start hearing God today and give life and health to your soul!

God loves you enough to fail you! He is faithful. Keep HEARING HIM AND LIVE.

How you came into the world is not your choice but how you leave this world is entirely up to you.

Life is full of opportunities and everyone by virtue of being alive is entitled to making a difference in the world.

The first step to greatness is knowing you can do it and what changes your story is doing it. In the process you will have nay sayers, people who dont believe in you, people who wish you fail, people who will try to pull you down. When you come across such always know, you wont be remembered by how well you answered them back or how many times you turned back to respond to them. Your history will be written by what you do in the course of your purpose.

Fulfill your purpose. Put your heart to it and God will make out of you the very best. He knows how much potential is in you because He put it there.

Be encouraged and step out and make a change.
