YOU ARE PRECIOUS, YOU ARE MEANT TO SHINE
ISAIAH 60:1

Most of us believe that the pain we go through destroyed us and shuttered us. We think we are worthless after all the experiences we have gone through. We think that nobody can go through as much as we endured and still be worthy. Most of the time we have already given up on ourselves, we believe we are nothing; equivalent to the dust on the ground.

Nobody has ever told a diamond it is precious, when it is cut and bruised and knocked down and experience intense pressure it must believe it is the most unlucky of stones. If it were told to speak then we would hear it speak of all the torture it endured under the hands of its cutters. It will not realize its value and how each cut exposed its fullest beauty and made it radiant and spectacular.

Out of all the gemstones, the diamond is the one that everyone wishes to own and its beauty description is like poetry from the romantic mouths. All praise of its worth, all admire its beauty, all are proud of it as a possession and all know it is very pricey. All these probably a secret to the jewel itself, it may never know how admirable it is out of all crystals from the ground.

Oh! Child of God you precious, you are precious than any diamond. You are precious than any jewel in this world. You are pricey, you are costly than all the diamonds in the world put together. You are worth to die for. Because your savior left heaven; where the streets are made of gold and the city walls are sapphires, ambers and all sorts of precious stones. He left all that glory and wealth for a dear daughter you are. He chose to be the only price that will ransom your life.

Jesus Christ`s Blood was the only price to be paid for you. Nothing on earth, in heaven, could surface the value of the Blood of Jesus who is the son of God Himself. The I AM who made you in His likeness and image. Isaiah 43:4
You are valuable as the shedded Blood of God`s only begotten son, (1 Corinthians 6:2).

You are priceless. In John 3; 16: God so loved you that He was not ready to lose you. He gave up His only son to die on your place so as HE can save you and have you with Him forever. Out of all, HE saw HE only saw you. Your worth is equivalent to the worth of HIS only son. God loves you as much as HE loves Jesus, His Son.

You are precious. You are precious because God made you that way. You are naturally, automatically precious. When a sculptor has a vision of a sculpture, he goes searching for the perfect stone that will produce the vision he has on his mind. Later he will find the stone on the ground, laying on the dust. The rains must have fallen on it for many years, the sun must have scorched it, and the wind must have blown so hard on it. It may probably be edgy, rough and irregular but the sculptor does not look on the shape of the stone but on its value and usage.

This is because the sculptor knows that; the outside may look unattractive but once he works on it will turn out a marvelous sight. All of us have a story to tell, most of us our stories are not nice to tell nor easy to hear. We have been bruised on every side, hard-pressed and we have weathered. We are not as attractive as we ought to be yet and we have not unleashed our full awesomeness. 2 Corinthians 4:8-18. We believe we are a worthless piece of dirt.

So the sculptor purchases the stone for its value and not its attractiveness. He goes to great length to carry the heavy stone and a long time to shape and reshape the image he wants. He uses a chisel and a hammer to break the stone and sculpt the lines to make the image. You can hear the banging sounds as the carver cuts down pieces after pieces of stone until the sculpture is ready.

Thereafter he must polish it and wash it and present it as no longer stone but a work of art. We are like these beautiful sculptures. Each of every one of us survivors is made of precious stone. We were once bruised by life and later God saw our worth and bought us at an expensive price. HE put us in HIS workshop and began HIS work on us. By removing the rough edges by a chisel and hammer, cutting down the weathered parts and exposing the beautiful interior. By every stroke, He carves us to beauty.

It may appear the sculptor is hurting the stone by constantly hitting on it but it is through the bruises that fine lines appear. And it is only with a chisel and a hammer that the shape of the sculpture appears. It would be a waste to live a precious stone without being carved a beauty. This is your life. All life`s lessons may appear to be hurtful and distrustful but since you are made out of precious material, God`s efforts are not there to hurt you but to shape you and mold you into magnificence.

It is not necessary for you to go through all of these, but no one admires a stone as it sits on the rambles; everyone admires a sculpture as it graces a room. So all the pain that you have gone through, have made you be who you are right now you are a masterpiece, a work of art as in Psalm139:14.

Because you did not know that you are a masterpiece, I wrote this to tell you that you are. When a sculptor is done with his sculpture he does not hide it but exposes it for the world to see. So are you, when you have survived and conquered all you have gone through; stand up and shine. Inspire, motivate, captivate, and educate someone else. Isaiah 60:1

Do you know the story of Jesus and the woman at the well? If not read about it John 4:1-42.
Are you aware that Jesus loves you the way you are, and embraces you in your broken form? There are so many stories of Jesus and women in the Bible especially women who were seen as outcasts, prostitutes, demon-possessed etc He did not shy away from them. Are you ready to trust in the JESUS in the Bible and not the image of Jesus the world puts in front of you?

SECRETS are painful, they hurt. It is okay to talk to someone else about what happened to you. It is okay to speak to an elder or a friend you trust. Most of the times you will feel relieved you told somebody.

R**e, forced prostitution, molestation, sexual abuse in general, are experiences that carry guilt and shame. Shame that someone will find out and won't love them anymore, shame that they are dirty, guilt that it is their fault.

What are you ashamed about? Did you know that shame is fear and we are told to overcome our fears?

1John 4: 18 There is no fear in love, but perfect love drives out fear,
