He describes how his family has adapted to a different life, and talks about the similarities and differences in culture from his native Philippines and where he has served in the Democratic Republic of Congo and Tanzania. OKUMC was pleased to visit with Missionary Gilvren Decal of Tanzania this morning. He is in Oklahoma for an itineration visit. His work is in church planting and development in an area of Tanzania called the Pawni District, impacted greatly by disaffiliation. He is pictured with Lori Foster, conference secretary of Global Ministries and Rev. Dr. Derrek Belase, executive director of Connectional Ministry. He visits Arkansas next.
