西螺廣福宮老大媽有著『國道媽』之稱，
連續10年辦理《媽祖護駕 國道平安》國道遶境，
起源於2014年西螺服務區首發奇想，由西螺廣福宮媽祖上國道，並遶境整個服務區，祈求平安，而延習至今。
