草廟太平媽官方粉絲團 約清末，本地人前往西螺福興宮請天上聖母(俗稱太平媽)一尊，前來本地後庄尋勘吉地以利建廟，不料聖母鑾轎回西螺途中，行至埔心前庄橋時，即不肯再走。後以杯筊求聖母指示：謂前刻所踏勘之地為「鯉魚穴」於是聖母便以該地為落腳處蓋廟
