A slave's apron. That's the image Peter uses when he tells us to 'clothe ourselves' with humility. The original Greek word paints a picture of someone rolling up their sleeves and getting ready to serve — and that's exactly the posture God calls each of us to. Because even Jesus said He came not to be served, but to serve.
