2022 Eid al-Fitr in Taipei Daan Park on May 8th
🎊Eid Mubarak

Here comes another year to celebrate the ending of Ramadan: Eid al-Fitr. After a month of Ramadan, Eid al-Fitr is an important day to reunite with family and share delicacies! Due to the pandemic situation, Eid al-Fitr in Taipei was canceled for two years in a row. This year is coming back! This event sincerely welcomes everyone to participate to experience a different culture and a celebration of Eid al-Fitr.
✨Program✨
📍Stage Performance

We invited different artists this year. Indonesian Chinese artists, such as Ricky Hu and Jim Willis, Indonesian workers’ band UNIBAND, and a mystery International artist. This exciting performance can not be missed!

📍Halal Market & Cultural Experience
Different kinds of Mulsim cultural booths in the Halal Market. Islamic calligraphy, Oud, and Taipei public library cultural exchange bookstand for cultural experiences to allow everyone to get to know Muslim culture.

📍Outdoor Cinema
This is the first time to have an outdoor cinema. A documentary filmed by Taiwan Public Television Service: Help is on the way and an Indian movie: Secret Superstar to make everyone enjoy a different visual and hearing experience.

⚠️Pandemic Precaution
1. Remember to when going out. Keep yours and others safe!
2. This event will take real-name registration. If anyone has a fever, respiratory symptoms, related travel history and tracks to positive COVID-19 patients. Please make sure to have self-health monitoring, and do not attend this event to avoid the risk.
3. Due to the pandemic situation and to cooperate with the Government and Taipei City’s pandemic regulation, the organizer will be rolling to adjust this event and content. The organizer retains the right of ultimate adjustment, change, event explanation, and cancels this event.

Assalamualaikum warahmatullah wabarakatuh Brothers and Sisters

For Moslem students, sitting comfortably with eating delicious dishes in the campus is very desirable, so finding a restaurant that provides moslem-friendly food is one of the steps that must be accomplished.

At our beloved campus, NTUST, there are restaurants that serve moslem-friendly food. As a form of appreciation, this time IMSA posted two moslem-friendly restaurant in the 3rd student cafeteria. The 1st restaurant is Halal Food, which provides variety of foods ranging from rice, pasta, meat and vegetables. Moslem friends can freely choose and enjoy all the food at this place without worries, because besides being delicious, all food served are halal certified.

The 2nd restaurant is vegetarian restaurant. This restaurant is perfect for vegetarians or Moslem friends who like to eat vegetables. Based on our survey, vegetarian restaurant provides variety of food with the following criteria:

1. All foods are processed from vegetables, even cooking utensils are only used for cooking vegetables ingredients only.
2. All foods which have been provided in the form of artificial seafood/meat are basically made from vegetables.
3. There is no mixture of alcohol in the food.
4. There are several menus containing milk, if you have a preference not to eat milk, you can confirm to the employees for getting the menus without milk.

Due to the extension of level 3 COVID-19 control by CDC, we fully commit to be strict by supporting government regulation and to further reduce ANY form of risks that would happen in the future for NTUST students, staff, and nearby citizens included.

Finally, with heavy heart, we, IMSA have decided there will be no EID Prayer for this Eid-Adha

Assalamualaikum Brothers and Sisters,

On behalf of the NTUST-IMSA Board Member 2020-2021, I would like to express my gratitude to all NTUST Muslim students who have given supports and made good cooperation during my one-year leadership period. Also, I would like to apologize from my deepest heart for any mistakes that I have made during my interaction as NTUST-IMSA President.

In this special moment, I would like to officially introduce brother Helmi Son Haji as the new NTUST-IMSA President 2021-2022, we hope that brother Helmi can be a good leader and bring NTUST-IMSA much better and contribute more for all Muslim students in NTUST.

Finally, we present a report video to show our activities during the period of 2020-2021. Once again, thank you for the good cooperation and support so far.
