We are heartbroken to inform you that our beloved brother, Wasif Ali, a fellow TIGP student from Pakistan, has sadly passed away this night around 21:07 (6/30)due to leukemia.

إنا لله وإنا إليه راجعون
Inna Lillahi wa Inna Ilayhi Raji'un
Indeed, to Allah we belong, and to Him we shall return.

We humbly request you all to make du'a (prayer) for him. May Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala forgive his shortcomings, accept his efforts, and grant him the highest place in Jannatul Firdaus. Ameen.

Please remember him in your sincere prayers and keep his family in your thoughts during this difficult time.

Today we received the most noble of all gifts from the honorable Representative of the Saudi Arabian Trade office in Taipei. Our generous brother sent a lot of copies of The Noble Quran with translations in various languages along with a few pictures of Haram. We thank him for all his good wishes and efforts to make it easy for Muslims in Taiwan.

Alhamdulillah,
We are grateful to the Almighty who made everything happen, the way it happened. We also acknowledge the contribution of everyone who worked and made prayers to make it happen. This Mosque materialized as a reflection of the kindness and generosity of Leaders of Academia Sinica, especially President James C. Liao. We thank him and all the administrators and staff for their good intentions toward Muslims in this institution and for acknowledging our challenges without a Mosque.

We also thank our Brothers and Sisters from different nationalities for joining last week's Eid Celebration Event in Academia Sinica. We especially want to thank Representatives and Officials from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Malaysia, Republic of Indonesia, Republic of Türkiye, and Sultanate of Oman for being there with us as a symbol of the brotherhood and unity among two billion Muslims.

May Allah grant us ease in this world and hereafter.

MASJID MALIK -AL-MULK QUR'AN CLASS

Assalamu Alaikum

This is to bring to your notice the commencement of Islamic education classes for our brothers, sisters, and children organized by the Majlish Ash-Shurah of Masjid Malik Al-Mulk. The activities of the classes will focus on the teaching of Islamic knowledge, starting from the Qur'an (including its translation), Arabic, and Basic ibadat in the first phase.

2. The Qur'an teaching will start from the 30th Juz (Fatiha, Nas, Falaq, etc). Also, there will be an advanced Qur'an class.

3. The book that will be used for Arabic teaching is Al-Qa'idatul Nawraniyyah (the soft copy will be shared on this platform). It's a book that will guide you on how to pronounce Arabic letters write words and sentences and subsequently understand the language, which are very vital for proper recitation of the holy Qur'an.

4. For Basic ibadat, the teacher will focus on our daily ibadat such as wudu'u (ablution), Gusl(bathing) Salah according to the teaching of Qur'an and Sunnah of the prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.)

5. For our children, the focus will be on how to read Qur'an and some basic ibadat.

6. The classes will be held on weekends (every Saturday and Sunday) between Magrib and I'sha (for brothers and sisters) and in the morning (for children).

7. The volunteer facilitators are:

iv. Brother Yusuf
