📖 最古老的神學問題之一，就是靈魂是如何從父母傳遞給兒女的？對此，歷史上主要有兩種學說：「創造說」與「遺傳說」。「遺傳說」認為，整個人，包括身體與靈魂，都是藉著自然出生的過程，從父母傳遞給後代。「創造說」則主張，每當一個人出生時，這個人就是一個全新的創造，是藉著上帝直接而立即的大能所創造的；因此，人性並不是單純透過自然生產的過程傳遞下來。
