本廟創建於清乾隆八年（1743年），迄今逾二百八十年。先民感念保生大帝海上顯神、燈光指引，庇佑漁民平安返航，遂重建廟宇以答神恩。本廟主祀保生大帝，配祀清府千歲，位於安平區效忠街33號。
