【關於台灣毘努伊勒會】

「毘努伊勒」是聖經創世記三十二章所記載，雅各與神摔跤的地方。意思是神之面，因雅各說，他面對面見了神，性命仍得保全。（創世記三十二章三十節）

神召聚我們來到祂面前，乃是在敬拜中與祂面對面，當人的心向著神敞開，人的心靈被神醫治、潔淨、更新，得以被神重新建造，成為新造的人；神的義取代他的不義，神的聖潔取代他的污穢，神用祂的榮美取代了人內心的醜陋。在敬拜中，神也向軟弱、需要祂的百姓，彰顯祂自己，使人經歷祂的愛、全能，與信實。

我們的牧養乃是帶領人定睛在耶穌身上，渴慕神是我們一生所追求的，因我們相信，唯有創造我們的神有能力可以改變人，並滿足每一個人的需要；而當人的心向著神時，神也會指教他如何面對他的生命和生活。耶穌使人得以稱義。

耶穌說，「我來了，是要叫羊得生命，並且得的更豐盛。」（約翰福音十章十節）這是祂對我們生命的應許。深願我們渴慕神，正如大衛的祈求，得以「一

生一世住在耶和華的殿中，瞻仰祂的榮美，在祂的殿裏求問。」（詩篇二十七篇四節）也願我們一生竭力在神面前，如保羅所說，可以得著主，並得著主所要我們得的。（參見：腓立比書三章十二節）

【Peniel Church in Taiwan】

“Peniel” is the place where Jacob wrestled with God written in Genesis 32. For Jacob said “I have seen God face to face, and my life is preserved.” （Genesis 32:30）

God called us to come before Him, so we can see Him face to face in worshipping. When a man opens his heart toward God, his heart can be healed, cleansed, renewed, and restored by God. Then he becomes a new creature. God’s righteousness took place of his unrighteousness, and holiness, filthiness. He replaced our ugliness with His glory. He reveals Himself toward people who are weak and desperately need Him in worship and therefore people can experience His love and faithfulness as an almighty God. The way we feed our sheep is leading them to focus on Jesus. The thirst for God is our only desire in life, for we believe only our God, the Creator, has the ability to change a man and satisfy each person’s need. When a man opens his heart toward God, He’ll instruct this man how to face his life and thus a man is justified by the faith of Jesus Christ. Jesus said “I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly” （John10:10）

This is the promise that He has toward our lives. Let’s thirst for God as David’s prayer, so we may "dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to enquire in his temple."（Psalms27:4）

Let’s follow on to know the LORD before Him. As Paul said “that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus.（Philippians3:12）
