【農曆正月十三日】關聖帝君飛昇

民國61年11月間，烏日鄉九德村，有志聖教人士數名，到台中市聖賢堂參拜恩主，於閒談中盼能於該地有一救世度眾場所，並請聖賢堂諸同修協助，是時邱堂主等人即一口應允。於是開始赴烏日勘尋適合場所，準備興建新廟。

緣於九村德村村民張炎根等善信，於家堂奉祀關聖帝君金身，眾人因感未能發揮度世功效，方生建廟佈化鸞音構想，並求，得名為「天德宮」。
