Preaching next Sunday(September 5th) at our church, Double Blessing Church, please pray that Holy Spirit can use me to help his people grow.

Sermon Title: “Why did this get so hard to pray?”
Sermon Scripture: Matthew 6:5-15

The challenge this week is that I am teaching from Matthew Chapter 6 verse 12 “and forgive us our debts,
as we also have forgiven our debtors.”

Would be great if Jesus had stopped at “and forgive us our debts,” because we really want that and we really enjoy that and we really appreciate that and we really need that from God - but Jesus adds the, “as we also have forgiven debtors” - and that’s the catch.

And is this is definitely an issue that is happening in the church today amongst the body of believers in Chiayi and beyond.

Grateful to God for having me go to school Saturday to work on a few things in prep for Monday morning, even though it’s a holiday. I’m grateful because I got to see one of my students and have a long talk with him and encourage him and to pray with him.

Pray for my colleagues and I as we work amongst the students here at Concordia Middle School. Pray that we can be available and have opportunity to both encourage and be light for Christ in this time.

Please take the next 10 seconds to pray this prayer for the working class people of Taiwan.

The marginalized in Taiwan, such as the homeless or s*x workers, face many challenges in trying to live out a new life as Christians, including finding and keeping new jobs.

Father, may Your people rely on You in their struggles. May You provide for all of their needs out of Your glorious riches in Christ Jesus. Ps. 56:3

Please ask your church, bible study, small group, cell group, family and children to pray this with us and you will be joining thousands of people around the world in asking our Father to bring His good news to the working class people of Taiwan. Please relay this to those who can join us in prayer.

Please take the next 10 seconds to pray this prayer for the working class people of Taiwan.

With political tensions arising between the US and China, Taiwan tends to get caught in the middle. This causes insecurity about the future for many Taiwanese, especially in reference to the economicy and jobs.

Father, may the Taiwanese working class recognize in You the God who cares for them and cares for their daily lives as well as their spiritual lives. You promise to supply all our needs according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:19)

13% of Taiwan's population is over 65 and half of them are living with their children. Ministering to the elderly could be a key way to share the gospel with larger families, especially in the rural areas.

Father, we know that caring for the elderly is both a Biblical value and a strong emphasis in Taiwanese culture. We pray that Christians showing concern for the elderly among Taiwan's working class would be able to reach their children and grandchildren with the gospel.

Please ask your church, bible study, small group, cell group, family and children to pray this with us and you will be joining thousands of people around the world in asking our Father to bring His good news to the working class people of Taiwan. Please relay this to those who can join us in prayer.

In this area of ministry please pray for Yaru as she has daily contact with patients and their families. Many times patients and families ask specifically for her. Pray for wisdom and opportunity to bring the Gospel to them and God’s hope and peace through Jesus Christ.

Please take the next 10 seconds to pray this prayer for the working class people of Taiwan.
