龍鳳宮始建於明萬曆三十九年（西元1611年），原稱天妃廟，後因廟前鹽埕區內鳳山寺頽毀傾倒，將寺內廣澤尊王移入與天上聖母併祀，廟名改稱“龍鳳宮”，2007 年被指定為縣定古蹟！
