Divine Mercy Sunday | John 20:19-31

“Receive the Holy Spirit. Whose sins you forgive are forgiven them, and whose sins you retain are retained.”

‘I desire that the Feast of Mercy be a refuge and shelter for all souls… especially for poor sinners.’ (Diary, 699)”

HOLY TRIDUUM | One Mystery, One Love

From the table…
to the Cross…
to the empty tomb…

We walk with Christ through the sacred days of the Holy Triduum—the heart of our faith.

On Holy Thursday, we witness a love that kneels and serves.
On Good Friday, we behold a love that suffers and gives everything.
On Easter Vigil, we rejoice in a love that conquers even death.

This is not just a story we remember.
This is a mystery we enter.

The same Christ who broke the bread…
who stretched out His arms on the Cross…
who rose in glory…

He is here.
He is for you.

Come. Stay. Watch. Pray.

Let us journey together as one parish family,
from darkness into light,
from death into life.

As we enter Holy Week, the Church walks into the most sacred days of the year—not as spectators, but as disciples.

We do not simply recall what happened to Christ.
We step into it.

From the cries of “Hosanna” to the silence of the Cross…
from the breaking of the Bread to the breaking of His Body…
from darkness to the fire of the Resurrection—

this is not history.
This is mystery.
This is now.

Here in Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal Parish, we invite you:

• to slow down in a world that rushes
• to pray in a world that distracts
• to stay when others walk away

Stay with Him in the garden.
Stand with Him at the Cross.
Wait for Him in the silence.

Because love that is real… stays.

May this Holy Week deepen our faith, steady our hope,
and set our hearts on fire again with the love of Christ.

Come. Watch. Pray. Remain.

29/03/2026

Before the cries of “Hosanna” echo in Palm Sunday, this day invites us to pause and reflect. Not yet the celebration, but a moment of stillness—a chance to examine our hearts before we enter the sacred story.

Soon, Jesus Christ will be welcomed with joy… and soon after, rejected and condemned. The same crowd, the same voices—reminding us how easy it is to praise Him in comfort, yet struggle to follow Him in sacrifice.

As we approach Holy Week, may this day be a time of honest preparation. Not just words of faith, but a commitment to remain—through every joy, every trial, and all the way to the Cross.

Feast day St. Joseph Husband of Mary

Feast day St. Joseph Husband of Mary

19 March | Saint Joseph
Patron: of the Universal Church, unborn children, fathers, workers, travelers, immigrants, and a happy death
The Bible pays Joseph the highest compliment: he was a “just” man. The quality meant a lot more than faithfulness in paying debts.
When the Bible speaks of God “justifying” someone, it means that God, the all-holy or “righteous” one, so transforms a person that the individual shares somehow in God’s own holiness, and hence it is really “right” for God to love him or her. In other words, God is not playing games, acting as if we were lovable when we are not.
By saying Joseph was “just,” the Bible means that he was completely open to all that God wanted to do for him. He became holy by opening himself totally to God.
The rest we can easily surmise. Think of the kind of love with which he wooed and won Mary, and the depth of the love they shared during their marriage.
It is no contradiction of Joseph’s manly holiness that he decided to divorce Mary when she was found to be with child. The important words of the Bible are that he planned to do this “quietly” because he was “a righteous man, yet unwilling to expose her to shame” (Matthew 1:19).
The just man was simply, joyfully, wholeheartedly obedient to God—in marrying Mary, in naming Jesus, in shepherding the precious pair to Egypt, in bringing them to Nazareth, in the undetermined number of years of quiet faith and courage.
