依據佛經記載，釋迦牟尼佛成道時，大梵天王與釋提桓因即勸請釋尊大轉法輪，因此才有佛教流傳於世。由於大梵天王以「慈悲喜捨」四無量心，救護世間一切眾生，乃化現為一身、四面、八臂，滿足眾生關於事業、感情、財富、平安等一切願求，因而被尊稱為「四面佛」。
《仁王護國般若經》中云：七地菩薩能住於百萬億佛土中，化作大梵天王，教化一切眾生；又《大梵天王問佛決疑經》中，亦有觀世音菩薩化作大梵天王之記載，故知大梵天王實為菩薩應化。心誠則靈，祈求四面佛賜予靈籤，指引迷津解惑釋疑，本佛殿更無任何商業行為，完全免費，歡迎善信大德來與四面佛結佛緣。
