Built to Last: The Anchor of Early Training

Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it. Proverbs 22:6

Minsan, nakakapagod maging magulang, ate, kuya, o mentor. Paulit-ulit ang pagpapaalala natin sa mga bata tungkol sa tamang asal, sa takot sa Diyos, at sa tamang pagpapasya. May mga araw na parang pumapasok lang sa kaliwang tainga at lumalabas sa kanan. You might ask yourself, "May nakikinig ba talaga?" o "May silbi ba ang mga sinasabi ko?"The Hebrew word for "train up" is chanak. Ibig sabihin nito, to dedicate or to introduce. Finding Joy in Every Season

“Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice.” Philippians 4:4

Napakahirap maging masaya kapag sunod-sunod ang problema. Kapag stress sa trabaho, may bayarin na paparating, o kaya may hindi pagkakaunawaan sa pamilya, ang daling mawalan ng peace of mind. unique context ni Paul nang isulat niya ito: nasa kulungan siya. physical chains, but his spirit was completely free.

Paano niya nagawang sabihin na "Rejoice... alway"? Ang susi ay nasa dalawang salita: "In the Lord."

Hindi sinabi ni Paul na mag-rejoice tayo sa magandang sitwasyon natin. True joy does not depend on our happy circumstances; it depends on our unchanging God. Kapag ang Source ng joy mo ay ang iyong relationship kay Jesus, hindi iyan basta-basta mananakaw ng kahit anong bagyo sa buhay. repetitive command na "again I say, Rejoice" ay paalala sa atin na ang kagalakan ay isang choice. dynamic transformation happens when we shift our focus from our problems to His presence.

What a wonderful Lord’s Day! 💛

Our hearts are full of gratitude for all that the Lord did yesterday. We were blessed to welcome first-time visitors and second-time guests, had the privilege of sharing the Gospel, and were richly fed through the preaching of God’s Word.

There is no greater joy than seeing lives touched by the truth of the Gospel and God’s people gathered together to worship Him.

We’re thankful for the opportunity to serve and worship our great God. To Him alone be all the glory! 🙏

Joy in the Trial

“My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing." James 1:2-4

Ang hirap maging masaya kapag sunod-sunod ang problema, 'di ba? When unexpected trials hit us, whether it is financial stress, health issues, or relationship drama, our natural reaction is to worry, complain, or ask, "Bakit ako?"

But in this passage, James gives us a shocking command: Count it all joy.

Hindi ibig sabihin nito na kailangan nating mag-pretend na hindi tayo nasasaktan. God does not expect us to smile while crying. The word "count" means to make a conscious choice. It is a mindset. Pinipili mong makita ang mas malalim na layunin ng Diyos sa gitna ng iyong kalungkutan.

Bakit tayo magiging masaya? Dahil may ginagawa ang Diyos sa likod ng eksena. The “trying of your faith worketh patience.” Ang bawat pagsubok ay parang weight training para sa ating spiritual life. Walang lumalakas na muscle nang walang mabigat na binubuhat. Every trial is producing steadfast endurance and stamina in you.

Huwag kang bumitaw agad. Let patience do its work. God is using that very trial to make you perfect and entire, wanting nothing. He is molding your character so you can become spiritually mature, complete, and lacking nothing. Trust the process, dahil ang dulo ng pagsubok na yan ay mas matatag na ikaw.
