Joy in the Trial
“My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing." James 1:2-4
Ang hirap maging masaya kapag sunod-sunod ang problema, 'di ba? When unexpected trials hit us, whether it is financial stress, health issues, or relationship drama, our natural reaction is to worry, complain, or ask, "Bakit ako?"
But in this passage, James gives us a shocking command: Count it all joy.
God does not expect us to smile while crying. The word "count" means to make a conscious choice. It is a mindset.
Bakit tayo magiging masaya? The “trying of your faith worketh patience.” Every trial is producing steadfast endurance and stamina in you.
Huwag kang bumitaw agad. Let patience do its work. God is using that very trial to make you perfect and entire, wanting nothing. He is molding your character so you can become spiritually mature, complete, and lacking nothing.
Blessed Morning! ☀️
