I’ve had to apply for a police clearance certificate for a job before, so I have experience with the process and have successfully obtained one in the past.
I mentioned applying for one recently but didn't share the outcome because I had put my ID card away and couldn't find it later.
The bureau chief shares my surname,
which I feel worked in my favor.
