創立台灣寺廟金蘭會的意義，在於整合信仰團體的親和力，在於延續秩然有序的祭典禮儀，在於傳達廟宇建築雕飾等藝術，更存在彼此結緣禮待的倫常裡，因之廟宇功能的推廣也為彼此互助，而常相借鏡的進步觀念也能使之共識始能體認。
