聖德宮媽祖又稱「舉人媽祖」：
廟內匾額「品高月旦」為嘉義縣最古老的匾額，迄今已270年之久。
張氏五房永盛公，在夜間工作中意外掘得一合鼎白銀，使得成婚生子，共得五男二女，為張家五房之來源，本宮與張姓五房宗廟合為一體。
正殿：媽祖、觀音菩薩、五谷仙帝、中壇元帥、千里眼、順風耳；左殿：福德正神；右殿：宗祀牌位；主神桌下：虎爺
