順陽宮，主要供奉朱、李、池三府王爺。三府王爺是唐朝初年的功臣民將，在時局不安定時幫忙緝捕盜賊，並教導人民拓荒墾地，甚至變賣家產來賑濟百姓。明末清初時，因政局動盪，大量的漢人移民台灣，當時海上常遭海寇和風浪的打擊，因此有人到廟宇請王爺隨船庇佑，才能平安來台。人民為了感念他們的功勞特地建祠奉祀，祖廟位於大陸福建。
