*Ramadan Announcement:*
It has been confirmed by reliable sources that the new moon for the month of Ramadan 1447AH / 2026 was sighted with optical aid in Saudi Arabia, UAE, Afghanistan and Gambia. This means Sha’ban would be 29 days and Ramadhaan starts tonight with the 1st fast beginning tomorrow Wednesday 18th February, 2026.

*We, the Caroni Jamaa’ah have accepted these reliable sightings and would therefore have our first taraweeh salaah tonight, Tuesday 17th February, 2026*.

Isha Salaah will start at 8:00pm at the Caroni Masjid and the Islamic Centre, Kelly Village.
